I don't think anyone knows for sure, but it seems in store pick up orders made online are now showing as closed. This could mean they are making their way to the proper locations. The dates we have now were always just estimations meaning we could start getting them at any time. If you didn't pre-order, it would probably be best to check in with your store frequently, yeah.

In the US he hasn't arrived at ANY stores yet. Current expectation / best guess is February 13th.

They're not street dated, just have an ETA of 2/13, but it could be sooner, as Bowser was sold the day before the ETA of 1/30. Just stay in touch with your local store and you'll have a chance.

Money isn't usually an issue for me. But my insurance fucked me over. I could pay it, but it drains me of all my money I had for this month. And I still have that Japan trip too + I bought an engagement ring I'm surprising my fiance with in Japan. Sigh.

But next month when I have nothing to pay for and I have all my money freed up (with nothing I have to pay for), I'll totally order these and send them out to you. What I need is:

I. A PM with your shipping address..

II. You need to measure the width of wherever you are going to put these (they are 12 inch in width, and are bigger than they look. They make 9 inch versions, so let me know which one's you need 9inch or 12 inch).

I own the Fabrikor. Love it. Love the style and everything. It's perfect for putting in LED light strips. It does let very little dust though, probably my dusty room's fault I dont know. Very little dust. In thinking of putting very thin rubber lining on the door's edges to prevent dust as that's the only place the dust can really come in. Here's a pic of my collection (i haven't opened up my Toon Link, Bowser, and a few Wave 1 commons yet)

Yeah I like the individual stands that Jason has vs the Acrylic Stairs I'm using. He's going to hook me up with those next month when I get paid (there is a shop near him that does those). They look amazing, and take up less space then the stairs.

I'm also going to get LED strips. But I'm thinking of getting the WARM white lights (so that they are more yellow than the blue/white that standard LED strips come in).

Going back and forth on it. Can't wait to touch up my display even more.

You can offer to have your name and number in mind to be contacted immediately upon availability, and they typically won't mind, especially if you emphasize just how much you want it. Try calling semi frequently, not every day, as that might annoy them, and hope that they'll be trustworthy enough to give you that call back.

My understanding is you are not actually charged until you pick up your order at the store and swipe your card. That's why a lot of folks, myself included, went today to "pay off" the online in-store pickup so they couldn't give it to someone else.

The in store pick up option for pre-orders are weird to me. Because they don't ask for money. So it's almost like a faux pre-order. I mean it IS technically an order in their system. But yeah, def have to go down in person and put some money down to make it like the other pre-orders (in terms of its status and the priority of itt).

Plenty of people seem to have ordered there without any incident. That's why I decided to try and order something from their website back in December. I know that when I ordered from them for the first time, it was an absolute nightmare. Trying to get issues resolved through their customer service was an exercise in futility.

If you're going to order from them, use paypal so you can get your money back if they try to screw you over like they did for me. And if you're going to go with the cheap shipping options, make sure you get the one with tracking info. It greatly helped me out when opening a case on paypal.

I'm sure nothing so horrible will happen. It's just when people mention it, I remember the month of frustration of trying to go through their customer service.

Okay, back to lurking I go.

Need to have the exact measurments though. Have to plan out each row (as like each row behind the next will need to be higher than the one in front). So it requires some effort (need to measure your case width and height, as well as the rows etc.)

Jason is hooking me up next month with enough for all the Smash line. I still think the Acrylic Stairs are prob the best option for most, as they are well priced and already take care of the work for you. With these, you have to have the tubes cut and measured. You have to really graph out your rows with your case measurements. If I didn't have Jason helping me out, I would def not do it lol

Basically, depends on the lengths you are willing to go to pimp out your case. I'll be doing these + some special LED custom strips I'm buying. But that's all I'm going to do. I should just be happy with what I have now, because it looks really really nice (especially in person). But Jason and I are always teaming up off board, so he got me lured in

Yeah, the staff/two main employees I see get along rather well with me and it's sometimes fun to talk to them since we might talk about something gaming-related. One time we talked Earthbound & last week when I asked about amiibo in person, he showed me his collection on his phone.

They should be contacting me about Sonic since I pre-ordered him, but maybe Wed. or so, I'll go in & ask again, along with seeing if they can call or e-mail me. But yeah, I don't want to bug them each day, especially since I can get updates here/online as well.

The stairs are def bigger than the pics let one. The Detolf IKEA case I'm using is the exact width of these. So the 12 inch version is perfect. But for some, it's too big width for whatever shelf they are using.

I'm a little worried as I placed an order for 3 today and between adding to cart and completing the order in Paypal Metaknight went out of stock. The order could not complete but Paypal went ahead and paid them. Then they sent a cancellation email and now they indicated that payment was received.
