I placed an order for 2 Lucarios and 2 Ikes.
I get 4 boxes. Hmm ok
Open box 1. An Ike. (hmm ok)

So nobody else had their Shulk pre-order cancelled at Gamestop? Mine was for in-store pickup. I didn't receive any sort of notification, but when I went to check the order status on the website, it said it was "Closed." When I contacted customer service, they said they cancelled my pre-order because they didn't receive enough stock from the manufacturer.

I'm about to preorder from Crunchyroll because cheap shipping and premium member discount, but it says it won't arrive till the end of May so maybe someone else has a better suggestion?

I would still go down to your store with the order and check there.
Closed doesn't mean canclled for in store pick up. Means it will be ready for pick up soon. Go in store with your order printed out just to make sure. Also go put money down on your in store order. As it stands now it has zero $$ on it and won't take priority over in store pre orders with money down.

Long story. Short version is TRU canned my online preorder. I had my wife go to the actual store and do a preorder there. Then a day or two later, they put 'em up on eBay so I bit (as a backup). But then they turned around and reinstated my original TRU.com order. So, long story short, I have two more Lucario coming.

I'd still hold on it. You might have gotten someone elses order and have to send it back.
My Lucario tracking number in the email didn't work because the link was to the ups tracking site but they sent it via FedEx. Try copying the tracking number and pasting it into google. Google is pretty good about figuring out what carrier the number is valid for.

The online in store pick up option is kind of sketch as you don't put money down. If you do go this route, print out the order and go in store ASAP and make sure the order is in their system. Also put money down on it so that the order is like other pre orders (ordering online for in store pick up makes the order have no money down on it, so it takes less priority than other orders).

I would contact Amazon and tell them because it could be someone else's order. And with these being in high demand and low stock, it would be the right thing to do. Then again that's just me.

Ended up going to FYE yesterday and placing an in-store preorder for Lucina and Robin as they are the only amiibo from wave 4 that interest me. Was initially looking forward to trying to preorder them at Gamestop but given the hassle amiibo hunting has become, I figured the sooner my preorders were in place, the better.
Not sure if anyone is interested or not, but Yoshi is up for pre-order at Walmart right now

Heh, thanks. This was Amazons screw up though, so I try not to tell people what they should or shouldn't do. I just know how high demand these are and how bad the stock is. And I've actually heard stories of Amazon.fr recently not shipping Rosalina out to orders. So if that was someone else's order I would feel bad.
Usually Amazon will tell you to keep things with their mistake though. And since this is an international order I don't know how tricky that is (or if its a hassle).

Ike is actually one of the easiest to get in the UK. Lucario isn't that hard either (it's still in stock at the nintendo uk store at any rate). Of course, WFT and Lil' Mac are rare, but still, 3 of those 4 boxes are full of commons.

Amazon e-mailed me that my preorder of Ike amiibo from November 24 was still trying to be filled. If it can't be, they will cancel it on March 6.
So preorders mean nothing!
