Amiibo Thread 3 | Where release dates are made up and preorders don't matter!

My nearby TRU is getting Toon Link tomorrow. If I can get my hands on one along with my Gamestop pre-order I'll have an extra Toon Link. I'd be willing to make a trade with anyone here. I'm also thinking about trading my Shulk for an Ike.

EB Games Canada (GameStop Canada) was not able to fulfill all preorders at once. Many preorders were delayed to February sometime like Ike, Sheik, King Dedede, Shulk etc.

Isn't toon link going to be easier to find at some point? I read somewhere that he was going to be common compared to the store specific ones.

My Meta Knight order was cancelled from the Tokyo site we were ordering from last night.
How long does a refund usually take?

You'd think so given how common Link is, but it could go either way, honestly. "Toon" Link is more of a niche character than Link - Doctor Mario will likely be harder to find than regular Mario, for instance.

Hmm, I think he said he might've already sent Fox out, but I guess I could ask again.

While I'm thinking about it, did we ever determine if we'd do that contest where we'd choose amiibo & then the member would have those amiibo fight in battle, then the winners got prizes from a pool of sealed amiibo to choose from?
 
TRU sent me a 2nd Lucario instead of Sheik. I guess I shouldn't really complain.

Cause if so that Dec 7th order of Pit, Captain Falcon, Toon Link, Shulk, and Ike literally only got Captain Falcon held for me.

Closed means it's been completed and are on the way to stores for you to pick up, unless you specifically got e-mailed about a cancellation.
 
Ok, all my amiibo preorders at Gamestop are ok except for sonic. What's going on with that one? The manager was able to get me a king deedle as well.

Nothing updated for meta knight. Fuck this noise!!
 
I've talked this over, and you guys are right. Whatever issues you have, or we have, this thread is about Amiibos. Not personal shit. And IMO I can't post here without upsetting people. So I'll stop posting here. Thank you guys.
 
So someone posts here, gets accused of being someone they were not, gets harassed in their PMs, has to prove their identity because of all the members complaining to admins, and it's somehow this one person's fault? Right. Frankly, I'm ashamed of everyone who didn't stick up for her.

The people derailing this thread are those who barely post and then all of a sudden they want to talk trash or tell people to shut up.

I just went to target I take my son with me so I don't look like a total loser lol / flooded with bowsers flooded
