Thank goodness, I looked at nowinstock and there's Bowser everywhere but no Toon Link. Hopefully Target still has them next week

Retailer exclusives are also a different story for me.

I should Clarify that I did not obtain a duplicate Shulk or Meta. I had an in store and online pre-order with TRU for Lucario. My wife and I split up and came home with 3 Rosies (doh!).

Yeah, I was relieved to see them finally ship too. Despite all the scares back then, nothing bad actually happened (for me, at least).

I still have the rest of the non-retailer-exclusive Wave 3 figures pre-ordered at Toys R Us, too (Ike, Dedede, Sonic, Mega Man). As far as I can gleam from this thread, those ones are not officially going to be released for another week or two (at least in the US?)?
 
You all are my favourite section of Gaf now. It might be the addiction talking, or possibly the fact that the Destiny thread is almost entirely dedicated to the PS4, but I like you kids- you're alright. Also you feed my amiibo drought with pictures of your hauls.

On that note, I received a text this afternoon from a fellow amiibo hunter in my city letting me know that Bestbuy had a few Fox in store- if I manage to get out to the store tomorrow and they are still in stock
probably won't be
does anyone need him?

No idea but when I went to order it said there were none available in store and did in-store pick up and said it was available today which I didn't get around to. I'm confused as fuck.

In my endless search for a Sheik with a near perfect paintjob I ended up with 5 Sheiks. Finally done and will most likely return the 3 i don't want for a refund. I saw about 20+ Sheiks today at my TRU and 98% of them had paint issues.

alright I guess my question was moreso, where could I get a reasonabley sized box and and bubble wrap (and how much would the packaging cost? I've never really shipped anything.

Ha ha, yeah Sheiks seem to have terrible paint jobs. I got a perfect one but it was from the EU region. :( . .
 
My sonic shipped using ontrac and is scheduled for tomorrow... are they reliable because I could have sworn that Amazon used USPS primarily for shipping.

Office Depot. They typically provide free packing peanuts in the copy center. A box is just a few dollars. They also have UPS and USPS shipping services available so you can pick the best price.
 
In all honesty, I did not expect the amiibo thread to grow this big and move this fast. I don't even try to keep up anymore and will just check the last page or two because several pages will have accumulated since I last check the thread. Insanity!
 
Has anyone recieved their Rosie or Lucario from amazon.it yet? I know its supposed to take awhile.. but god damn.. I feel like it should be here already.

Amazon doesn't normally use USPS for shipping...it's either UPS/Ontrac/Fedex in the Bay Area. I don't even think they use Fedex anymore either. Mostly just UPS or Ontrac.

I have been receiving small packages from Amazon via USPS a lot over the last year. They ship the items to my local Post Office via UPS and then Post Office delivers the item. Its a bit strange but I'm sure Amazon is saving big bucks on shipping using this method.

Just checked my last few shipped items and they have used USPS -> Fedex and now Ontrac for my last two items and I live in the Bay area. Just wondering how reliable Ontrac is but I feel more at ease with USPS shipping.

Hastings cancelled my Toon Link order with no notice after 5 days, had to fucking email them for a status update for them to communicate that >.< ...anyway apparently the Target nearby at Neshaminy had some in stock for in store pickup only so hopefully that comes through. Lol @ prices on amazon right now.

Target had them up earlier today, as well as walmart a few days ago!

Just keep hunting, youll find one. He seems to be the easiest to find other than Bowser in this bunch.

Heh, kids? I asked last night, and a lot of us are in our 20's, and a good part of them is late 20's, like me!

Glad you like it here, it's pretty cool, I agree. You're gonna get the ultimate haul pics when I get my 7 Mega Mans custom painted and post here. It'll knock yer socks off!

I would, but GameStop stole all the money in my Paypal then proceeded to put me in backorder with a refund :/

Hahaha, I call everyone kids. I'm in my 20's as well!
I'm excited, I think Mega Man's amiibo looks the best out of them all. If I can get one I'll be ecstatic, the Blue Bomber has gotten me through a lot in life.

That totally sucks, TRU did the same to me. If I see one out there tomorrow I'll grab one just in case!
 
My Ness and Lucina got price adjusted on Amazon UK finally!

Hopefully the rest of them get a price drop before the April 24 launch, if they do it should only be about $100 or a little less to import (or $16.66 per amiibo). Can't complain at that price, really.

Same here! I probably spend way too much time thinking about amiibos, but with my Sheik seemingly in limbo from Amazon, and my other Wave 3s coming to Gamestop sometime in the next week or so, I'm just kind of aimlessly refreshing this thread and other stuff online....waiting.....

Agree'd 100%. One of, if not my favorite, game characters ever. No question.

There's just something so amazing about playing a Mega Man game, it's so much fun. Never get tired of 'em.

I actually prefer Ontrac to UPS. They're very reliable.
