that comes off as real sleazy. Gamestop lets people preorder without paying, but fuck you if you don't answer a random call at a random time.
 
When TRU sends items via FedEx, are they delivered to your home, or to your local Post Office? Mine says it should arrive today, but I'm not sure if it'll be to my house or not. Obviously that would mean I may have to wait at least another day to receive it.

We got an estimate on Sheik's ship date from amazon, but we still haven't heard anything about Mega Man from them, not even the "do you wanna keep your preorder" email. :/

it's transferred to the usps and delivered by your daily carrier.
 
I'd honestly get Pikachu & Zelda for $20 since I don't have them, but I'd rather use the funds for the newer or rarer amiibo.

Speaking of newer & rarer amiibo, 10 minutes until Rosalina giveaway.

Seems to be different everywhere, lol. At my gamestop (pretty sure I was talking to the manager), he claimed to be unaware of this "special" amiibo policy but was totally cool with letting me pay off my preorder, which I placed from gamestop.com for in-store pickup.

This is great for anyone in need of commons I guess. Who knows, some TRU locations may have something special, not holding out hope for mine...But I will be there at 10am sharp just because I am hopeless like that. :(
 
i wish amiibos were as easy to get as infinity figures. im not sure how easy skylanders are to get but my gamestop has a lot of space reserved for them and the had a lot of each figures they had in stock.

My TRU order was on my doorstep. We have those group mailboxes in my neighborhood (I grew up with a mailbox right on your house) and if USPS would have delivered it, it would likely have been in a box there. However, my Lucario was on my doorstep. Not sure that mine was transferred to USPS, though.

while nintendo has botched amiibo supply, infinity and skylanders figures are multiplatform and available to a wider audience. Amiibos are limited by the wiiu selling like shit and the new 3ds isn't even out yet and probably won't cause people to buy in large numbers anyways.

Thanks for the info! I'm thinking it'll come to me directly, as it says "Fed Ex Home Delivery" as the shipping method. We'll see though.
 
Just got part of my Amazon order; Sheik, Bowser, Sonic, and Toon Link look awesome! Hoping the rest ship soon! Also thinking wistfully of my Amazon.FR Rosalina, which shipped January 16th with an estimated delivery date of January 29... Anyone else still waiting?

I had the subject as "register". I send a second one as "register Rosalina amiibo giveaway" & then added a "key" which was just basically "Hey, contact Zonic."

Just last year's 2014. Saw him during the Arrow panel after Agents of Shield.

I really wish amiibo had been in full swing when I went there last year. I scored some free Disney Infinity figures and I really would have liked some free or exclusive amiibo.

No exclusive this year though please, since I'm not going ;P

Still waiting. I'll be all right if it doesn't show up since I snagged a U.S. one on Sunday, but I'd rather see it delivered and get this other one to another soul in need.

I'm chatting with Amazon.FR right now to see what they can do. While I have some command of French, I'm using Google translate and it is going... strangely. You were able to grab one at Target? I haven't even tried, figured NYC would be a war for 'em.
