Yeah, I live in a small town so there were 7 guys lined up for 12 Rosalinas. Wasn't too bad.
I still expect to receive the French Rosalina, honestly. People in this thread have been receiving them as late as yesterday, so I know they're still rolling in.

I was told last Saturday that toys r us should get more. The guy I spoke to is pretty reliable. I'd keep checking

Initially at least. There's still a second shipment coming. I asked the local eb manager if that was just what they hoped, when in actuality Nintendo wasn't sending any more. She said without a doubt they'd be getting the second shipment to fill preorder, and that the reason it was split was because initially they were slated for release end of month, but they decided to ship some out early to coincide with the rest of wave 3.
From the different employees i've asked, it seems like they just get a box and don't know what's in it til they open it. They don't get told about contents ahead of time. I guess i just gotta figure out when they receive shipments (no one has disclosed that info to me yet) and call just after they get it in.

Amazon.FR said wait until 2/12 and if I still haven't received it to contact them again. And while I was chatting with them Lucario came in! So hooray, though that was through Toys R Us after TONS of cancellation drama.
I hope I'm on at the right time when Best buy preorder goes up, otherwise I may have to import or hope he gets more stock.
NOA really needs to clarify these exclusives. Target says theirs is only the initial shipment and TRU says they should get more. Could NOA have different deals for different exclusives?
NOA communication would solve a ton of issues. That's all I want. Tell me which ones are still in production, and which ones aren't. That's it. The silence is ENCOURAGING scalpers.
Unless they announce that most are discontinued, in which case scalpers will just raise the price.

Are companies like Target really that stupid to where they would throw away money by only making an initial allotment available and then never restock? I could see Gamestop being this assholish by making subsequent runs "Used" to sell at an inflated price, but Target doesn't have that ability.
At least i'd know whether or not I should keep calling/trying or just give up. It would save me a ton of hassle.
Probably a bit more readable if you list it by game rather than by character like this if you want my opinion:

Toy's R Us seems to do more with their exclusives than Target or Bestbuy. Target will have an exclusive bluray steelbook of a new release, and when it sells out, it's gone forever. There's been zero communication from NoA, but Target did the same with Rosalina.
Target always does this with exclusive versions of movies or cds.
Seems to be the case, just be careful that is not the last shipment.

No problem. I'll remind people in a few hours (I'll try to not spam it to annoyance) so those who're having trouble finding her have a chance to enter. Hoping I'm not discouraging some people (mainly those outside the US) from entering due to shipping costs, but considering it'd be less than the actual cost of an amiibo, some people might still try to win her.

Gah! That sucks. I managed to get one on Sunday at Target, but still had her pre-ordered at Gamestop. I was hoping to use the extra for a future trade, but I guess I'll just get my money back instead.
Also, my Lucario is at home waiting on my doorstep. I hope the trip treated him well.

Guys, DO NOT GROW CONFIDENT about Sheik availability, she might not be rare but she is for sure more popular than Diddy, maybe she won´t be trade material, but be sure to grab the one you wan´t while its easy. Also, TRU is having that buy 2 for $20 offer, its the perfect chance for scalpers to strike, expect them to go and buy the whole stock to sel at close to retail price.
