Shulk - no idea if there will be extras in store for non-preorders, if it is like in Canada there will be none and preorders will have waves of being fullfilled
Meta Knight - there MIGHT be in store ones available, but Best Buy and Future Shop in Canada said there will be no presence in store for first come/first serve units
What a damn waste.
I gotta buy amiibos from Toys R Us more often. You get your extra $1 worth with that box.
Ebay/Amazon are your best bets.
I don't think they'll have enough to sell to non-preorders.
Also depends if you can reach NYC or not.

NWS is getting a fresh stock of Amiibos that no one can get anywhere else. Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Lucario, Shulk (which isn't even available to the people who rightly pre-ordered them). Considering that Lucario and Shulk were almost exclusively available for pre-orders, ANY stock not allocated to retail stores makes a difference.

Being very lucky or extremely obsessive from what I can tell. For Shulk: My friend at Nintendo World couldn't hold one because they aren't letting them do that with the amiibo's, and my friends at numerous Gamestops don't even know when they are coming in, or when they do it changes.

Meh, I can't be too jealous of the people at the NWS. They have to live in cold, frigid NYC while I get to live in sunny, beautiful Southern California.
Lucario cannot be stopped, you can only hope to contain him.

FYI, I did NOT see Wii Fit Trainer and Lucario at the Nintendo World Store
Also, I just ran as fast as I could across Midtown and got Shulk!
But they only seemed to have Shulk, Rosalina, Shiek, Toon Link, Diddy

My order still hasn't shipped. I doubt that a package all the way from Italy or Europe or wherever will be shipped to Canada in less than 4 days.
What happens if Amazon misses its expected delivery date and you paid for global shipping. Will they refund it? I'm not so confident. Shipping locally is usually next day delivery. But half way across the world. Hmm...

Just the combination of Mewtwo being DLC only (meaning there won't be as many prints) and him being one of the best/popular Pokemon ever will drain storage quantities in an instant

hmm I dunno if I really want Toad. I like the character but I'm not starving to have an amiibo of him (especially since he'd stand out compared to all the Smash amiibo) and his functionality in Cap Toad is pretty lousy. also I don't have Captain Toad and I'm not getting MP10 :V

If you do this remember it won't show in the stores local system for one day. I know some people were rushing to gamestop to pay off the in store orders the same day and not being able to because it wasn't in the system yet.

Would they really make Mewtwo though? I mean he's a DLC, and only if you bought both games and registered them. You can (probably?) buy it standalone too but he's not part of the original roster in this version so I don't feel like his release is guaranteed.
Anyways, Nintendo gonna Nintendo so we won't know until he's announced or out.

Got Toad even though I said I didn't want any Amiibo outside of the Smash line. If it is rare I can use it for trade, and if it isn't, I'll just cancel the order.
Also my Lucario came, but even though they used a big box, they still managed to fuck the packing job. No bubble wrap, but to keep him from moving around they put him sideways and closed the box on him to hold him in place. The blister was curled on one side and there's a slight crease on one side. It looks acceptable now that I flattened it out, but I'm pretty bummed about it. Could have been much worse though.

Morning...I've been up for 5 hours or so, woke up to get Lucario at TRU (Canada) and succeeded. Couldn't sleep since I got back, and have work later today. :/
