Amiibo Thread 3 | Where release dates are made up and preorders don't matter!

Didnt know it was that serious. I just was scrolling down a thread and noticed he was banned again after just coming back from being unbanned and his last post was in here and it seemed fairly innocent.

Yeah, it wasn't anything too serious, just don't feel like having the stuff around it coming up yet again.
 
I really feeling it for Shulk Amiibo since I just beat Xenoblade for first time just now.

The game is pretty fantastic and I really enjoy nearly almost everything about it other than boring side quests.

I got a Shulk in play-asia about a week (2?) ago, it says its shipping in the 20th apparently.

Edit: Heath FINALLY finished Xenoblade the saga has come to an end.

Trained my Luigiibo to level 50 and he is a BEAST, even without any feeding. He uses all of the character's moves quite well and has even tried to taunt-hit me.

So that makes Yoshi, Marth, Link, Zelda, Diddy and Luigi fully trained. Moving on to...Wii Fit Trainer, because if not now then when?

LOL. Yeah, it took me 5 months to finally finish the game but I'm very tempted to do New Game Plus in the future. I'm really glad that I played the game! :D It was because of you and someone else in SmashGAF kept encouraging me to play the game. Thank you!

Just watch, they'll announce something awesome for the new 3ds version of Xenoblade if you use your Shulk amiibo, and you'll have to play it all over again ;o

It's a very good game, I left most of the sidequest for the second time around when I did new game plus. I really liked the bit near the end when they are
stranded in the hologram of space and they all look at the earth and wonder just what the heck is it.

Here's looking forward to the sequel.

It's actually kinda funny thinking back. We thought it'd be rare because she wasn't in the system when people tried to preorder at EB, but it just turned out she was only listed under "ROSA" not "AMIIBO" in the system. Once we figured it out we spread the word and now she's just everywhere.
 
So, I had no idea how bad the amiibo situation was. I was hoping to possibly pick up a toon link, but this was seriously all I found at 4 separate stores.

-Mario
-Pikachu
-Peach (all the stores had a ton of those three)
-Yoshi
-Luigi
-Bowser
-Diddy
-Zelda
-a single link

Seems like anything that isn't mario gets like no shelf space. that's sort of ridiculous.

Seriously? I was worried she was like exclusive to Mightyape or something cause they were the only ones offering her then. Managed to snag one the day before release in EB's website though.

So for those that ordered from Amazon France or Germany, what is the process? I'm considering ordering a few I'm missing.
 
ugh why is Gamestop taking so long to get my Ike and Shulk amiibo orders! Also I really want my megaman amiibo!

Also, the Bowser amiibo is so awesome, solid and hefty. Just wish the part seams didn't show so easily! :(

Yeh, nah, she was always readily available at EB, some staff just didn't know how to look her up.

His eyes don't look like they're centered. One seems a lot closer to his nose than the other.
The paint from his glove has also bled all over his hand (the sword hand).

Not very impressed with him compared to the quality of the rest of wave 3 :\

Kind of want to keep him sealed on the off chance I ever find a replacement.
 
So, gave my extra Rosalina to my boss in Pittsburgh who is letting me live with him. I bought it for trading, but he has been nothing but nice and helpful since i got here, and he is super into amiibos as well, but he is also way too busy to actually get the exclusives and stuff. He was super pumped, so i feel pretty good about that.

Also, finally got my Marth and WFT right before i left. Letting them have a 30-minute battle right now to get them a bit up to speed with the rest of my Amiibos!

:( I'm worried about Ike. Don't want a derpy one. Been lucky in that the ones shipped to me have been great, and any others I've been able to go to the store and pick out the one I felt looked best.

I think this is kinda standard for all the Ikes I've seen. They just seem to have trouble with humanoid characters.

Ike and Shulk were my two orders, gotta pick em up in store. Hope they get a Toon Link at the same time.

Yeah I've been lucky up until now, even my Marth I bought online has a perfect face (slightly bent sword though but that's ok).

Ike seems to have the worst 'defect' rate from what I've seen of pictures online. Other than drunk Samus, they're everywhere :P

My Samus is drunk and has a little green paint dot above her visor. Maybe the person who assembled it was also drunk. :P

I'm hoping my Ike comes out decent when I grab him.

Exact same as mine but my eyes are a little less shitty, got a Japanese one as well. If it sucks too I'm just gonna open it and keep the NA one sealed. I want a sealed FE collection of Amiibos lol.

Hey, I didn't see anyone mention it to you but I believe metaknight has been confirmed for a Feb 20th release at best buy.

I got a Bowser, I might still buy the Mario Party one too. They both look good, but I'm not a huggggee Bowser fan lol.

I love having the big character Amiibos, so awesome. Can't wait for Charizard especially!

EDIT: Hmm, Bowser's base is a richer gold colour than DK. DK is a launch one so I guess the paint isn't exactly the same.

EDIT2: DDD, Sheik are in stock at AmiAmi. Toad and Mario Amiibo preorders are open again.
 
The NA Lucario I had pre-ordered from PlayAsia was just removed from my order this morning. Contacted customer support, and they are now sold out. So far Shulk hasn't been removed, but I'm feeling even less confident about it now. I didn't receive an e-mail notifying me it had been removed so, check your orders if you placed one through PlayAsia.

He releases at EB Games Canada today and they will have enough for all preorderw and for walk in orders.

Better than the usual preorders only availability so his stock seems to be decent but he won't be like Bowser.
