It's just a result of how botched these are and people wanting one before scalpers drive prices up or the figure vanishes.

Diddy seemed rare, but now he's everywhere. Little mac seemed rare, and a week later was apparently discontinued. Sheik seemed rare, but is well stocked now.
 
Traveling with Ike:

I broke down and ordered an Ike from Japan, now he is my travel buddy while I am in Budapest.

So goHastings just cancled my Sheik preorders. I had 2 preordered and got an email with the cancelation. At least I was notified. Its pretty sad that Im content with at least being notified. On the hunt again...

TRU came through with my Lucario, so I trust they come through with my Ike.
Got Rockman via Nin-Nin since they were nice enough to switch my order.

Anyways someone I know has an extra Lucario if anyone has a Falcon they want to trade.

Yeah, Capt Falcon, Little Mac and Pit come out this Friday on Microplay (have all three preordered myself). Zelda, Diddy and Luigi came out on the 6th in both Zmart and Microplay and I believe are still available.

Falcon, Mac and Pit were on "Preorders Sold Out" status on Zmart when I checked them, but I don't know if they were ever actually released there.
 
Man, I made the mistake of using my gaf user name on twitter and Mariotehplumer blew it up saying if we don't reinstate his account he's going preorder the crap out wave 4 blah blah blah.

In other news. I have 3 followers now lol

I have a US Mega Man preordered at Gamestop, but I sure do want a Japanese one to leave in the package just because it will say Rockman instead of MM. The other name variants (like Toad/Kinopio) don't interest me at all, but this one does. Once I start buying variants, I think I have gone too far though.

I see, weird I didnt get an email for my Zelda, Diddy and Luigi pick ups, well coming friday I'll have those plus Pit, Mac and Cap waiting for me at the store, cant wait :D!

Hopefully MH4, N3DS are available as well, damn this month is going to be rough.

Uh-oh... the status for my Best Buy Sonic order suddenly changed overnight from "release date is 02/13/2015" to "status not available."

Anyone else have anything from Best Buy that says this?

I hope not in a way I would LOVE to have them setting next to the real things one day... still got a US R.O.B. never had a Famicom one... They don't seem terrible to have one for display though on ebay... maybe... idk I'd love to have one for sure... My R.O.B. still works too :)

So I have eight amiibos and I decided to only get my favourite ones.
For that reason Shulk and Charizard (and maybe Robin and Ness) were going to be my next purchases, giving me time to breathe a little (Shulk will release on the 20th here in EU).

However I found out I can probably get a WFT and a Pit for the regular price and now I want them aswell probably just because they are kind of rare and since i liked KI:Uprising I guess...
But then Bowser looks awesome and Marth isn't that bad too and kinda liked Ike in PoR and RD...

I think I have a problem, is this the famous amiibo fever? Am I lost forever?!
 
Got an email from Amazon that Mega Man should be here Friday! That means all I need is Sonic (plus my two imports that are on the way today) and Shulk (not as important, but I still have an unopened Pit to trade for one) to round out all I want from Wave 3.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Ike showed up Friday.

Should I be worried about Amazon delaying my Dedede order that I've had since the moment they were available to preorder? Or is he also pushed back like others seem to be - in the US?

I got a shipping confirmation, but the tracking link takes me to the UPS website but comes up as "Not Available."

Keeps me up at night.
 
Hey amiibros, been away from the thread for a few days due to a Vegas trip. What's the latest on Mega Man and Meta Knight in the US? My Amazon pre-order of Mega Man is still delayed indefinitely...

So we're now at the beginning of NintenDOOM Week. All I see when I look at the sky is that evil ass moon grinning at me.

I don't know if I'm prepared for the bloodbath this Friday of people scrambling for amiibo and N3DS's.
