Looks like I got a call from FYE today, my dad just called me while I'm at work. He didn't know what they said other than "its in"

Hopefully I'll have my Mega Man, Dedede and (probably not) Ike today

Damn it. I still have no date from Amazon... which probably means they're not going to fulfill my order at all. Suddenly my getting a Mega Man amiibo is in serious jeopardy. :(

I'm excited for you, though!

Nah. If they want entertainment value, they'll make sure no retailers put up pre-orders. Instead they'll announce the release date the day before it releases. Then everyone rushes to the stores and it'll be a blood bath. It will be all over the news. The internet will talk about it. And Nintendo... they'll sit there bathing in cash and watching on their TVs laughing.

In the same boat. Preordered right when they were available. May our hopes for obtaining the Amiibo of our favorite blue bomber not die!
 
Do amazon amiibos show up with the stupid sticker on the box like GameStop?

And I wanted to preorder ness there, did I already miss the window or has it not gone up yet?

No one puts stickers on the box besides Gamestop.

Wave 4 preorders in the US haven't gone up yet.
 
A bit of a weird question, but does anyone know what type of plastic amiibos are made of, or how I could find out? It's relevant for this art class I'm taking - I need to know if I can investment cast one, and at what temperature.

Nothing from wave 4 has gone up for pre-order yet in the US. The only future releases you can pre-order are the Super Mario line for Mario Party 10.

No Wave 4 pre-orders in America yet (except for FYE in-store, apparently) and no, Amazon does not put stickers on their boxes.
 
Just got back from Nintendo World Store: Ike, Mega Man, and Dedede aquired.

Haha, now I have to refund my preorders at both Gamestop and FYE


Edit: I'm so happy, now I only have two Amiibo left to aquire (Lucina and Robin) and I can be done of this nonsense forever

How was the lines? So pissed they do this at the beginning of the week. I'm not in NYC until Thurs and Fri every week.

I'm only a couple blocks away so I got there quick enough, but by the time I left the line was already getting to be out the door. By now I'd say it probably wouldn't even be worth it for people who aren't already in the city and willing to wait an hour in line

Luckily for me, there are no more characters I actually care about getting. My limit was Shulk, Mega Man, Dedede, and the Fire Emblem characters (I also ended up with Captain Falcon and a Mario/Link/DK christmas present, but thats neither here nor there <.<)

I won't be in the city until Thurs and Fri anyway. But I only work a block away from there as well. Hopefully they will have more to sell later in the week when I can get there. Gonna pick up a black N3DS XL there on Friday as well.
 
Finally, my first Amiibo order is going through on Amazon. Toon Link will be here on the 13th.

Now to wait in hope that Nintendo ordered enough Ness amiibos.

Yeah, I have the Monster Hunter bundle pre-ordered, so I'll be there Friday as well. Last Friday they got Shulk, Rosalina, and Lucario in, so you might luck out with some Thurs/Fri shipments. I suggest calling there around 2 or 3pm, that's usually when they start opening the boxes and letting people know what they got.
 
Just thought about something:

What if there's no preorders on Wave 4 period in NA? With all the problems happening and even preorders getting cancelled outright- I can see this being a big problem.

We just had the super mario amiibo go out in preorders, it's still coming.

Just waiting on my other preorders to come in so I can pick out the best paint job for each first :]

Oh I was there, picked up Rosalina, Shulk and Toon Link. Luckily I saw the post about them just before I left work. So I just strolled down there, and there was only a line of about 7 people or so.
