Hmm, did anyone here actually order any of the Super Mario ones on Best Buy last night?
Nowinstock shows that they never were "in stock" just that they went up as "out of stock" right away. Usually Best Buy does this when they are preparing to add them to their website.

Yes when it happened people were saying their orders went through.

Some of them weren't all that friendly -- they just said, "No." and hung up on me, ha.
 
Looks like none of the GameStop here are getting extra Shulks (one guy even had the gall to tell me they hadn't gotten any in at all, and then the guy behind me asked for his Shulk and it was brought out without hesitation). Ah, well. About what I expect, but I was hopeful at least. Maybe I'll fare better with Ike and Toon Link.

$12.99 for Rosalina. Everything else I've got with sales, coupons, and GCU with an average price around $9-$10 each.

Unfortunately, it's happened before that pre-order items sell out on bestbuy.com and the status changes to 'coming soon' before they permanently change the status to 'sold out online'. I know this from monitoring the page for Final Fantasy Type-0 Collector's Edition hoping it would come back so I could use the GCU discount.

Please.

If they can't sell it to you, what's the point in saying "yes we got them. But no you can't have one ". Might as well just say they don't have them and avoid the discussion.
 
Most I've paid is $20 shipped for a Lucario from Amazon UK, which is in transit now.

Besides that I haven't paid over retail US for any Amiibo.
 
So I actually went to my local Gamestop and spoke to my guy over there (not the same guy I talked to on the phone, luckily) and he told me they were getting multiple characters in today including Shulk. I only received confirmation for Sheik, but he said it didn't matter and that all my pre-orders are good to go. I assume it's Sheik, Toon Link and Shulk only today, but has any GameStops out there received Ike, Dedede, Mega Man and/or Sonic yet at all?

Retail price and I have all of them in my hands right now except Shulk, Meta Knight, Ike, and King Dedede and Mega Man (who are both being delivered Friday). I've told myself I will never pay more than retail and I've been able to keep that promise.

Not including shipping costs, $13.99 for Lucario at Toys R Us. Didn't really have a choice with that one. I've managed to find all the rest of them in other stores except for Pit, where I did pay an additional $5 for shipping from GameStop. All in all, not too bad, and I hope I can keep up this pace for future waves as well.

Agreed. Legend of Zelda and Kirby characters being rare, are they kidding me? I should be able to walk into any of these big box stores and they should be as plentiful as Skylanders and Disney Infinity. I have never had an issue getting any Skylanders character or level pack that I wanted.

And believe me, I've tried to pre-order the wave 2/3 amiibos but the nature of my work is such that I can't be obsessively checking my phone every second of the day so by the time I get home from work they're all sold out of pre-orders. This entire experience has been really frustrating and disappointing. Why is my only option to pay some scalper on ebay $25+ when I'd rather give that money to Nintendo? I guess NOA doesn't want money?
 
$25 after shipping for Marth is the most I soent because I started buying just before wave 3 hit. Most I get from best buys for $10 each rest came from Amazon.de worked out $19 each after shipping.

I do have a shulk on order cost $25ish to after shipping.
 
Is the Mario Party Mario being sold individually or just in the bundle with the game? I can't stand the Mario Party games and don't want to have to drop 60 bones just to snag him.

Also, this thread is a godsend for hunting / preordering / trading. Thank you, peeps!
 
On Sunday, I checked a Super Walmart near me and all it had was a sad, small collection of Mario, Peach, Kirby and Yoshi. Not even any Pikachu.

I went back Tuesday evening because I was in the area to see if the fabled Feb. 9 release of Wave 3a came to Walmart. Nope. Same sad, small collection from two days prior. Not sure why Walmart even lists dates for these things.
 
And the most I've paid for an Amiibo is from Gamestop for the Mario Party line. 4 figures plus tax and shipping & handling came out to $17.68 for each. Kind of a ripoff if you ask me.

Cheapest has been via Best Buy due to my Gamers Club discount, which I think takes off 2 bucks a pop.
 
Wednesday PM be damn. GS just called and told me Shulk is ready to come home! I asked if they had any extras or other figures available and he said nope
 
Not sure if anyone else has said anything but my Shulk came in at GS today. They only got 2 for both reserves they had. My GS is a big one as well soooooo goodluck finding him doesn't seem like it will be easy. 😞

I've never noticed that before. The tracking is usually a good tool I use to see if they got a shipment yet as it updates instantly after they scan the items into the system.

Sheesh. It took 4 days for my Meta Knight amiibo to travel 45 miles between post offices. It's like USPS had someone run it there on foot.

That's true. Happened with Pit and Falcon. My GS clerk was almost in tears from the nonstop phone calls for Pit ha. She said every phone call was for preorders she couldn't sell. She said there was no way to update the tracker to account for them. One 40 mi from me was glitched for months and showed Marth and GC adapters and they got a million phone calls lol
