Aah! I think I got one! Paid through Paypal and got the confirmation email. I'm expecting cancellations, but crossing my fingers!

Geezus, this is nuts. I wish people who already have them preordered would just leave the extras for the rest of us. :(
 
If anyone has an extra Shulk they'd like to sell to this poor GAFer, I would really, really appreciate it. I have a couple of extra Amiibos as trade but I'd rather be able to buy one at retail if someone would be so kind.

My kid is dying for a SHulk and I missed the preorders. (shame on me) :(

If anyone can assist and has an extra, please, please, please PM me.

Yeesh, maybe he should just learn to import or check Ebay. Kinda silly.

When I was at Target with an entire box of Rosalina sitting in front of me, I didn't even attempt to take more than 1 for any reason. The guy may have let me do it, too. I don't believe there were any purchase limitations.

But honestly? This whole Amiibo thing should be 1 per person. Scalping is bad but buying extras just for the sake of it is also kind of bad.

Just buy one and give other people the chance to be happy.

If I had preorders of these things I would just leave them be.

I'm all for helping out Amiibo GAG but I kind of feel like in that situation you should have given it to your friend. Just my opinion though.

But the fact that he ended your feiwndship over an Amiibo, sounds like you guys weren't very good friends to begin with. It is just a toy after all.
 
eBay is flooding with Shulk sales at $60+ a pop. It seems like a ton of people who got them through Gamestop are simply flipping them. Sucks when people like me legitimately want him :(
 
I got one, but Nintendo is really dropping the ball with these, I can understand the fear of having too much unsold stock, but by wave 3 it should be clear these are still fairly popular.

Here the thing, the extra I gave to another friend. We traded for a Rosalina. He felt he was entitled to it rather than the other friend I gave it to. So I felt bad and said I would do my best to try to get him one too. Oh wells, people like that are not worth having around if you ask me.

Back on topic, I will be heading to pick up my Shulk after work. Hopefully they have them in!

But are they popular because they are hard to find?

I can honesty say that my personal amiibo collection would be much smaller if amiibo were easier to get. Rosalina, Zelda, Bowser, Diddy Kong, and such would not be ones that I would normally buy if they were more available.

yea i have, in fact im about to head over to GS to pick it up.
 
Kind of crappy of Gamestop to have cancelled a bunch of orders for people and then go put them back up in stock today. I'd hate to have been one of those cancels.

Yes, mine was "closed" last week - got the text to pick it up yesterday. Going today after work.

US-East, Ship-to-store.
 
Just called my local gamestop and my pick up in store Shulk is available. They only got 3 in all reserved. I will have to pick it up tomorrow since I am stuck at work and they will be closed by the time I get out.

Was this an issue? I did not hear about any cancelled Shulks at US Gamestops. Apologies if I am incorrect.
 
called my GS to see if my shiek got there, she says they are still in transit. but what she also told me was that they are accepting pre orders for wave 4. grain of salt and all that, but might want to ask your GS.
 
For those wondering, I got a text from GameStop about my Sheik but not Shulk.

Called today and dude said they did have both in stock including toon link.
 
I just thought of something. If Nintendo were to sell amiibos on their website but they were pre-opened would you buy them? Keep in mind that they would be brand new. The only difference is that they would take the amiibo out before hand to discourage scalpers. The original box is still shipped with it but on the side for those that like collecting the boxes. Would you buy it?

BUT I HAVE TERRIBLE NEWS!

One of my Targets apparently got in and SOLD ALL of both Majora's Mask and the Majora's Mask N3DS YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!! :(

I knew this would happen it always does at one store or another but still :((((((((.....

So funny the ups and downs of Amiibo. You have had some pretty gloomy upset comments lately and now you are Winning! Congrats man! That's why we do it. Without the bottoming out lows we would never get these euphoric highs haha

I was in the shower when he popped back up on GS ha damn. So funny how it is all luck. The key is to not have a job and apparently don't shower. I am about to pick mine up I'm store but trying to hook my buddy up.

sounds like employees might have wanted to hold it for themselves.

Just got home from Gamestop. Picked up my 2 Shulks. Almost all of the figures they received had pretty bad bending of the Monado. For what its worth gamestop had stickers on all of the figures as well.
 
I've got a horrible feeling I'm not going to get my Meta Knight and Shulk from Argos. I've got everything else pre-ordered elsewhere (UK) but not those two.

Yes, its locked out via the POS and would be literally impossible to sell. Sounds like retail employee shenanigans for sure.
 
Need a Shulk as I missed on the GS opportunity by a few minutes, I was in a meeting.
