I ordered him from Walmart.com when he briefly became available last week. I think he went up briefly on GameStop.com after that, but I don't know where to get him now.

So from the recent Meta Knight discussion, it sounds like he'll be available on 2/20 but maybe only for people who pre-ordered, maybe not? Think there's any chance that us plebs who didn't pre-order him might be able to walk in first thing in the morning and buy one?

Shulk, too... is he still for pre-orders only or might he eventually be able to be purchased regularly?
 
I plan on going to Nintendo World very early in a few hours , anyone here in NYC plan on going as well?If so we can meet up and chat!

GameStop will probably pull a dirty and sell "pre-owned Shulks" that are just new ones taking out of the box in their warehouse.
 
Got my Shulk and Toon Link from GS & Amazon, respectively. Now where the hell are Dedede Mega Man Sheik & Ike! None of the retailers answer my emails! Even when I have an active order number!
 
Well now my preordered Toon Link, and newly ordered Link and Peach are now all preparing to ship so I guess they will be on the same order. So in the past 11 days from February 1st to now, granted I actually get TL after all this time, I will have gone from 3 Amiibos to 9 tripling my collection. As someone who doesn't have alot of money, I am quite glad of this. Especially since I was originally only getting around $50 this month lol. Lucky month.

And now I have enough money for one last Amiibo on amazon gc. So if Mega Man, Ike, Sonic, or DeDeDe go up I can snatch it. I hope for Mega Man, I expect none but still will get Kirby before my free prime trial goes up.
 
I haven't heard a peep from GameStop about my King Dedede pre-order. With so many people in this thread picking up theirs, should I be worried?

I have a hunch that Shulk might not remain so rare - they've been advertising the Shulk amiibo's use in Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, so I think they might make him at least a little more widely available to coincide with XC 3D's release next month.

Who am I kidding, of course they won't.
 
Oh god, so in addition to entertaining the idea of an amiibo of line of Kirby & his copy abilities, a friend got me to think up a line of Kirby copy abilities based on SSB characters, so one would have him wearing Mario's hat, another with Link's cap (& maybe sword), etc.

Yeah I did examine them, both had very nearly straight swords (you wouldn't notice the bend if you weren't looking for it) -- one bent slightly inward, the other slightly outward.

The choice was kind of made for me though. In the one that I opened, the interior plastic packing (the one that the amiibo base sits in) was dislodged and raised slightly, which made Shulk look kind of funny sealed.

Added Megaman, Shulk, Dedede, and Ike to the family. :)



Just need to grab Metaknight from best buy on the 20th and wave 3 will be complete. Wave 4 had me worried though. Preordering waves 1-3 was a snap as long as you didn't twiddle your thumbs about it. Now that the amiibo craze is in full effect I worry I won't be able to secure future waves as easy. :/
 
Anyone looking for Fox in the USA? is he rare or still just kinda scarce?

Because I'm at the store and there's 2 staring at me if anyone needs as can pay me right away.
 
My gamestop told me only Sheik, Toon Link, and preorder Shulk only came in today :(. I already have those 3 coming in the mail and was told DDD, Ike, Megaman, and Sonic is sometime next week.

Completely missed grabbing an extra Shulk to trade for little Mac, now I'm sad I won't be able to grab Little Mac for a reasonable price.

Yessss, got my shipment notification for Shulk. Now for the last hurdle, Meta Knight. Although I really thought I had no chance with Shulk until that few minutes of opportunity earlier today. Hope my luck can survive for just a little longer

Semi-rare. Slowly seems to be coming back in stock. I have no doubt there are people that still need him though. But not sure it's worth buying them unless you can find someone to commit.

Did you make that case yourself? It's cool!

Just got Shiek today... kind of an impulse pre-order but I really like her. I'm trying to keep my collection at bare minimum. It's really hard to not get excited, though.

They are on amazon too. Actually not Yoshi, guess they forgot to price match him lol. And DK sold out before my eyes while I was debating him so just Peach. Everyone here buy Peach, even if you already have her. We need to let Nintendo make room for more Amiibos FFS.
