Got my Shulk and Toon Link from Gamestop today! Threw in a Bowser too while I was there. 
So, I was thinking about the Fox situation and how it was available at all retailers for a few hours, even one or two days at random intervals, from this I think we can make some theory's:
1) Nintendo can make more shipments, since they just made a new shipment of Fox.
2)The new shipment had to be, at least, as big as the Little Mac shipment.
3)Fox, a non-rare character, sold-out in its new online shipment in less than 2 days and a 1 to 3 per costumer limit depending on the store. Most people already had him.
So what this says to us is:
-People are buying it because they are afraid of missing out on him again.
-People are buying it for trade fodder.
-People are buying it to scalp it
Either way, its a given that if Nintendo keeps making reprints but selling them sporadically they will keep selling out, since people are afraid they might miss out on them.

Finished my own little display thing today.
Simple styrofoam blocks, a bit of black paint and circular stickers made a pretty sweet little stair display.
I wasn't originally planning on having the stairs (25 on each) displayed side by side, so I might switch up the order.
The two blank spaces are for Mewtwo and a Mii figure if we get them.
fair enough.
back to the amiibo spirit quest it is.
(my spirit plays with spiritual amiibos because that can't happen in the physical world anymore)
You might want to send a PM to nerd_incognito. I was supposed to trade him a Rosa for a Shulk but then I ended up getting a Shulk today on Gamestop instead. He may still want to make that trade.

Actually, you can choose to pick DK up in-store and still get him for $9.99. He sold out online before I could order him too, so I picked a local store for in-store pickup and they still quoted me the discounted price.
Picked up my Shulk amiibo today! The GameStop near me had a bunch, I'm guessing they were all preorders. I didn't ask. But they did have one that arrived detached from its base. So sad. I took a picture of it for funsies:

As far as other amiibo, all they had were a few Toon Link and Sheik behind the counter and that was it. They said that they will get Ike, King Dedede, and Sonic on the 13th and Mega Man on the 20th. Sucks I won't have enough money for the 13th but payday for me is ON the 20th so I will definitely be getting Mega Man (and Meta Knight from Best Buy, I hope I hope I hope).

The Shulk thirst is real, someone even offered me 100 bucks to ship to Guadalajara (I sold them for around a 5 buck commission, sometimes more if its specially hard to get, but not scalpers prices)

Yeah, that's why I preordered my set of 7 from Nippon-Yassan and Nin-Nin. My regular blue one is releasing from Best Buy on 2/20, though I know the Nintendo World Store just had him, and sold out (of course). I've heard other retailers will have him starting Friday.
Thank youuuuu, it only remains the shipping/delivery lapse but thanks to SalvaPot cuz otherwise I would not had the chance to get Mega Man. But heyyy your 7 MM figures are coming next week or so, right? So looking forward to see your custom MM project

If everything works out right, I'll have my 7 Mega Mans shipping out on 2/20, with 2-3 day FedEx shipping, so I'll have them by middle of the week after, where they'll be sent right back out to Saludos Amiibos for the commission. 2-3 weeks later, the project will be complete and I'll be posting the glorious pics of the results on here for all to see. Yeah, supposedly TRU might be one of the retailers. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what I read earlier in the thread. Anyone want to confirm?
I called them earlier and they did confirm that they had the new Amiibos coming out this Friday. Didn't say how many though.

Hey, that'd be awesome if we got more variety than just red and black. I have my black preordered, though supposedly GS might have very small amount of extras, if you're willing to be there first thing in the morning to try. If so, then hey, good luck. I feel like you might be able to at least get a black.

I went by TRU yday and the lady showed me 2 boxes of Mega Man. 16 all together. They are dated for Friday. They aren't preorders. Also had sonic And Dedede but didn't see their numbers.
This Friday 2/13 or next Friday 2/20?

Seems like at least one amiibo on my end is the hardest to get. And at least with Marth and Capt Falcon, it seems like I may havve found the light at the end of the tunnel.
I see, I'll try to top by after work in the afternoon but my chances are pretty slim by that time. Giving it a shot anyways!
I should probably change my metaknight US preorder with them to the Japanese version.

Finally managed to get a Lucario today! My family also sent me a Pickachu in a really amazing Smash/Valentine's package.
We went out in search of Mega Man and Shulk today, but no luck on that front as usual. Up to 11 amiibo now: Villager, Wii Fit, Rosalina (2), Lucario, Pit, Samus, Fox, Pikachu, Toon Link, Link, and Kirby.
