Just got back from GS. I managed to order the Shulk amiibo like I wanted to and even decided to pre-order Xenoblade 3D since I've been meaning to do so for a while now. Thanks a ton for letting me know what I needed to do to secure a Shulk, Amiibros. Couldn't have done it without ya!
 
Hey amiibros (and gals), how as yesterday? I wasn't feeling too good so I didn't get on, nor could I go get my Shulk. They're holding it until tomorrow when I can go get him. They even said there's a chance they might have an extra or two so if I can snag one, I will.

You are indeed my saviour by hooking me up with King Dedede! I have work tomorrow so I won't be able to get him at all in the morning when wave 3B hits retail stores so I have to say your awesome and thanks again!
 
After EB Games opens at 9am tomorrow I'll have my MM LE, MM New 3DS XL and all of Wave 3 except for Meta Knight (shipping confirmations are supposed to go out any time now from Future Shop).

Super Mario Series is preordered along with the MP10 Mario Bundle and Wave 4 is preordered with Amazon UK.

I can breath again starting tomorrow!

So now that I secured Shulk... Sonic and Meta Knight are the only 2 (minus wave 4 ofcourse) that I need to get to complete the current waves.

I have a feeling Sonic may be harder to find than we originally thought. I have off tomorrow, so Ill be checking TRU and BB.. but Im not going to waste a ton of my day off looking for him.

Maybe I can finally trade with someone on here if they manage to find an extra sonic!

Yes I was able to pre-order in-store at my local Gamestop! I was really bummed yesterday too that I missed out but today is a great day! Thanks for looking out!
 
Going to Target at 8 for a shot at MM 3DSXL. The new Amiibos will be there too. I may grab an Ike and DeDeDe to help out if they have them. Mine are from BB so they are in the 20th. Anyone else going to grab extras for the community, I will hit up TRU at 10 as well. I have sent out 7 rares so far. I hope to increase that number. It feels good and I recommend others do it if they can. No claiming any yet ha I will post what I get tomorrow plus I am keeping 1 each for me and then I will help with my BB ones on the 20th
 
Its been a while AmiiboGAF. Been dying lately from midterms, but happy to get Shulk and Mega Man today! Waiting on Gamestop orders for Ike and King Dedede, and hoping to get to Best Buy early next week for a Meta-Knight. So close to finishing wave 3!
 
Most of the reps at BB stores have no idea if they're getting metaknight in stock.

When even I was a little lttp and I had to do it as a guest because GS's login and editing CC just plain don't work, when I had to manually add address and CC info you know it was on a long time.
I really think I mangled this setence....

I'm really feeling luck.
 
I found two Toon Link amiibo in Wal-Mart. Think if I bought them I could trade them for amiibos like Fox or Captain Falcon? I don't want to buy Toon Link again if he's really common.

That was funny. Its like Toon Link just sat on a bottle and jumped out of pain. I think you should get it exchange without any problem. Hopefully!

Same here, we are so close to finish the finish line with Wave 3, but I fear what would happens with Wave 4 since people are more aware of amiibo now.

That and with a lot of Nintendo's biggest characters out of the way, I am worried that stock for later characters will be more scarce.
 
Finally got a U.S. store exclusive amiibo. I pre ordered one shulk from one gamestop and another from a second nearby location :). Free shipping too when done from the store.
 
WOAH.... gamestop sent me confirmation and tracking for SHULK.

I ordered 12/12 online ship to home... i didn't think i would get it shipped and was concerned it was back ordered..
 
Sorry if this has been asked a bunch, but this thread moves too fast to keep up with.
Is GameStop getting King DDD and Mega Man tomorrow or next week?

Damn sorry to see that, If amazon doesn't ship you a replacement one I have an extra Toon Link you can have. I was so happy when I got my first Toon Link, he looks amazing! So hopefully this incident doesn't stop you from collecting more awesome amiibos!
 
The 'you should open your Amiibo' brigade will like this, but Amazon shipped my Sonic to me in a huge box with a ton of bubble packs to keep it nice and safe... too bad they bent him in half and shoved him in the package the short way:



I complained and was told they would give me 20% off, so I complained more about how it was not something I could simply reorder, and they refunded me and told me to order a new one because they will be "plentiful" when the next shipment arrives. I am not ordering Peach, I doubt Sonic will be plentiful.
