Won't let me check out Mega Man :(

Well, at least I have Ike reserved at GS. They're likely to get some extras for him so if I get there early when he shows up, I'll try and get one or two more for anyone who isn't able to get one. Can't guarantee it but I'll try.
 
Heading to Gamestop in a few to pick up my Ike pre-order. I have Shulk pre-ordered as well, and I thought that was releasing around this time as well but it says 5/1/15. Is that accurate?

Did you preorder it months ago, or last night? There was preorders up last night was a re release in a few months.

If you have Shulk pre-ordered from a while ago, they should be holding him for you. If you only pre-ordered Shulk within the last couple of days, you'll have to wait till 5/1.
 
Just wanted to post to say I got my Rosalina today from the trade I did with GodDuckman. Hopefully the Mac should arrive soon.

Thanks been waiting for this. Ugh so that gave me the Mario Amiibo and I already had Toad ordered. So it would be illogical for me not to order the other 4 right?! right?!

I am weak. I bought them all. But at least I got the GCU price of 10.50!

Went to a GameStop and they let me order Shulk online and ship it to the store. Downside is I gotta wait till late April for it. He told me next week they might get more Toon Link and Sheik.
 
I went to get my Sonic at best buy since my email said to pick it up on the 13th, so the employee said I can't have it until the 20th.. wtf?

Get someone to show a screenshot of him in the cart. He shows a different error when you try to add him, and the message on his is "not sold online" instead of the "out of stock online" that the other ones have.

Honestly the top 3 are by far the best. Mega came out amazingly well. And I'm tempted putting Ike above Lucario, but the derp face is just too strong.

We had(and I guess technically still have) Ike and Dede from Gamestop but they put her order on back-order. She went ahead and grabbed a Dede from Japan and a EU Ike so I can at least open them and add them to the collection. Just trying to find at least Dede to add to my unopened ones since I don't trust the whole backorder fiasco.

Bestbuy is being really weird about their amiibo stock. Talked to a few workers and other then one of them they all wouldn't say anything about anything. No details on what they have in stock or when it is going out to me. The exception was the guy that pulled out a Meta Knight and was going to sell it to me before his manager rushed over and put a stop to that.

I'd call ahead, wasted a trip out there for nothing despite showing them my pick up email, he said what bestbuy.com says doesn't overrule their street date and that I can't have him until the 20th, I don't really care that the date is the same as the others, just a waste of time.

Almost impulse bought it for the amiibo but then change my mind because Mario party has no online and none of my social group like Mario Party and only play Smash and Kart when we're together. Not even Nintendoland sees much play even though the one time we did was a blast especially animal crossing and the Luigi mansion game.

At least I'm having some self control for the Super Mario series amiibo haha...
so when is that Super Mario series Rosalina amiibo going to go up for preorder?

They're probably thinking if they release them all at the same time, when metaknight releases, while there people will buy more amiibos. Sucks though for people that already have orders in and just want theirs now.

I've been fighting off the urge to get multiples, one to keep in the case and one to take out, like you guys are doing. This shit is entirely wrong to someone who has always not wanted to collect figures and toys and just stuck to video games.

Yeah, it cost something like 100 bucks for 2 years but goes on sale constantly, and in return you get 20 percent off all new game software or game figures (so amiibos, skylanders, infinity etc). Most people buy in from 30-60 bucks and it's well worth it really.

You have to buy the yearly membership. It's actually kind of expensive but some time ago BB was giving them away for cheap, if you bought a phone or something or another so a lot of people took advantage of the deal and now have it.

You can get it now for around $30 which for two whole years! It's a great deal because for example you buy a $60 game, with GCU 20% discount you get it for $48! After buying only three games you already get's your money's worth and much more!!!

Best of all GCU discount applies to Amiibos as well!!! The Amiibo's I've bought from bestbuy are around $10.50 each!

There a deal coming soon for GCU for $30 for 2 years. There a thread on it but I can't search for for now. When that deal comes just ask at the register for Gamers Club Unlocked and you should pay $30 there to get a 20% discount on all new games including amiibos

. With it you good for 2 years but you can actually buy more if you want it to last more than 2 years. It automatically applies if you shop best buy online store too. Will not apply if you pricematch however.
 
Still no luck getting a Shulk. Anyone need a Sheik or Fox that has an extra Shulk?

If anyone is interested I'd PayPal you $20 and ship you one of either Amiibo. Fox is sealed but has a slight crease in the cardboard from when it was shipped to me. Sheik is near-mint in box. :)

i joined GCU a few days ago.
Does the GCU discount automatically apply online when you checkout? or do you have to link them on the website?
i signed up for both in store with the same email so it should automatically link, correct?

As long as you are logged in at the bestbuy website any game or Amiibos you add in your cart will automatically reflect the 20% discount! It's an awesome perk, it's why I shop exclusively at bestbuy for all my games!
