My Mega Man from amazon came in the mail today. Very happy with it. Looks great! This is the only amiibo I really wanted, so I'm not buying any others.

Well maybe I'll get a Kirby sometime in the future.
 
Went into the CBD today to pick up my copy of Majora's Mask special edition. Saw there were only 4 more amiibo in the EB Games there (One Ike!)

Went over to the JB Hi-fi next door and was pleasantly surprised.

It's been like 3 weeks since launch and they haven't sold out yet...
 
Just talked with Gamestop and they did not get in the King DeDeDe amiibo today. The dates are changing. When I asked to confirm about Sonic and Mega Man on 2/20, he said all the dates are changing... :(

Crappy pic of my collection so far. :) De3, Sonic, Meta, and Ike are still on preorder.

I told myself I wasn't getting them all but there's no going back now. Only getting Toad as far as the MP ones are concerned though.
 
I'm currently waiting on Mega Man and Sonic preorders at Gamestop (they said they have no clue when they are coming in but will call me when they do), my Little Mac from NeoGAF user espher (thanks again, man!), and my Wii Fit Trainer, Ike, and Lucario I all imported from Amazon.co.uk. After that I just have Dedede and Meta Knight (who I will be waiting in the cold for next week at Best Buy), Marth (waiting on the rerelease), and Villager (waiting for the price to go down or to trade for the second Shulk I purchased, might try to grab an extra MK and do a two-for-one)
 
Found someone willing to trade Ike for my Lucario, but still putting it out there that I'm looking for Mega Man and King Dedede if anyone has one of those to offer instead.
 
Shulk has reached my state & is 2 hours away from me. Sadly, I'm not optimistic for tomorrow, but perhaps Monday instead of the supposed Wednesday.

It's a real shame they didn't make a re-closable box for Amiibos. My friend has a few of them and I asked him what he would do if he moved. He has a container, but still.

Got up at 5AM

Went to 3 Targets. Each already had 5 people. (all 3 Targets only were getting 5)

Ordered MM 3DS off Target.com. It got canceled.

Missed Amazon MM LImited Edition

Missed Ike and Megaman at Target.



I did terrible today. I tried though...

I did get a Mario Party 10 (with Amiibo) preorder from Best Buy though.

Nintendo did everything to make them unfriendly to collectors. Cheap packaging and that metal piece to block access to games.
 
Assuming Target doesn't cancel my Mega Man and Ike, and GameStop's May Shulk doesn't go terribly I have pretty much all of Wave 3 accounted for except for Meta Knight and Dedede. Dedede I have hopes for... Meta Knight... eh...

The only reason I missed out on the Amiibos was because I prioritized going to Target to get a MM 3DS XL for a dear friend. I was thankfully successful and that's honestly all that mattered.

I was honestly surprised there were people lined up for the Amiibos though, first time I've seen that here in my city. We all shared the same stories as everyone else here, it was hilarious.

I want Meta knight more than any of the other exclusives. I have a shulk, hopefully someone will want to trade a meta knight for him.
 
I was on the Target app, clicked on D3, it went to add to my cart, my basket shook!... Then it popped up error, I keep trying, no one ever said I didn't keep tryin'

Kind of a side note, but have Shulk pre-orders shipped out yet? Mine is still "Open" on Gamestops website, so i'm not sure if they're just late, or if I should be getting concerned :/
 
picked up Dedede, Mega Man, and Sonic today at TRU. They had 2 dedede, 4 Mega Man and 8 Sonic. I somehow ended up being the first guy there... Also got my Sheik from walmart order and got in on the target Ike order. So here's hoping that works out!

I ordered one the other day when it went back up for a few minutes and it arrived today, will post a pic later when home. Not sure what's up with that sorry. Nice collection!

Yeah they have. The early ones and then the most recent. Well maybe not all of them, but my order that was placed on 2/10 already shipped.

Thanks for the info you guys! I guess I'll have to call Gamestop and see what's up :/ It should have shipped by now, so hopefully nothing is wrong :s
 
I was just able to do that special order-in-store thing for Shulk, so I guess he'll be shipping to me sometime in May, which is cool! GOD, I hate GameStop though. Between the line and them trying to upsell me on a million things, it took me 30 minutes to get out the door.

Ah crap, I just realized that USPS observes President's Day on Monday. Guessing Shulk won't get here until Tuesday now...
 


My modest little collection. Ike is on the way and after Lucina and Robin I should be done.

Except I already preordered Toad and once Olimar comes out all bets are off.
