I played a demo of Amped 2, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's a nice break being able to play an "extreme sports game", that doesn't control or play like Tony Hawk. I might pick Amped 3 up when it comes out. MIGHT.

Yep. If they've screwed up Amped 3 as much as it sounds like they have, I'll just keep right on playing Amped 2.

I can't wait for the 360, but I may pass on Amped 3. Amped 2 on the XBOX was in 720p and it looked great. I need to see more screens to see what they're improving.

The rocks in the first pic need some help but the more that I look at the first shot, the more I wonder if the distant textures that look poor are due to some sort of LOD bug since other textures equally as far look much better.

It's (in my opinion) obvious that Indy Built is just porting over Xbox games they had lying around to Xbox 360 without much effort on the graphics front. They already looked decent, people will buy them just because they are the only games on Xbox 360 in those genres, cheap ass game ports + lotsa launch sales = teh cash.

Really does look exactly like Amped 2, the surroundings anyways, can't judge much else.

as a fan of the amped series, which always had awesome graphics as well as gameplay, i'm quite a bit let down from these shots. certainly not a big step up from amped 2 IMO, but i'll wait till i see more

Amped 3 looks worse in motion than the original Amped, let alone Amped 2. And the new "extreme" additions are ridiculously bad and obviously forced. On top of all of that it's just barely fun like the first two games, trying to simulate real snowboarding but forgetting the excitement factor.
