Crazy that this made it. Brilliant but crazy. Happy for all the guys at Harmonix.
Good luck playing amplitude at 30fps. :/Hooray we did it! I'm ecstatic this got funded!
Me neither.
At first I was bummed about a Vita version seemingly being out of reach, but there's always remote play and that'll be good enough for me.
They really need to reconsider putting it on the Vita. The only way the PS3 or PS4 versions will be playable is if you hook your PS3 or PS4 up to a CRT. If you try playing any game like Amplitude on a large LCD television, the input lag will DESTROY it. The game is so much better suited for the Vita due to the OLED's low response time.

Glad its still 21 hours just in case.
Imagine that, huh? Not being presumptuous! In the early days of KS (pre-DFA) that's how they all were. I much prefer that approach, to be honest.Has there been any other kickstarters where stretch goals were announced after the funding goal?
Good luck playing amplitude at 30fps. :/
Better than nothing lol. I'll just play on easy!Playing a 60fps rhythm game downgraded to 30fps with input lag? That's rough.
What happens if near the end, all 3 people who donated 10k back out?
Then don't fret because it won't be in the game!
Quick! There has to be a millionaire on GAF! Get the stretch goal!!
Yeah but I'm not interested in online multiplayer
Good to see it funded but very disappointed with the stretch goal. I don't think it's going to entice people to throw money at the kickstarter now.
*raises hand*Heh. I'm sitting here with my cat, watching the stream, and GAFfers are all over the chat. Thanks to all you guys who pledged, especially you crazy wonderful people who never played the original.
This seemed so unlikely, I'm legitimately surprised that this Kickstarter succeded. The Amplitude fanbase is filled with some dedicated fans, for sure. It's also nice that Harmonix didn't sacrifice their ideals to get the game made; Republique's 180 in that regard left a really bad impression on me.
Congratulations to you, Harmonix & Amplitude fans. I hope your game is great!
I can't believe this is real. Amplitude is getting a follow up on the PS4.
Wow
*raises hand*
Now I feel bad for not having played the original.![]()
Good luck playing amplitude at 30fps. :/
I thought it was going to be 60? But as long as it's playable I'll live.
Good job HMX!
