Watched this one last night. I liked it more for the dedication to the source material than the writing. This season has had more than a few quality sketches though. Last week's no makeup song and the deadbeat boyfriend were both really good, for example.
I actually think her stand up is funnier than her show, but Inside Amy Schumer has been really great this season. And apparently, her movie is getting the buzz to be the best Judd Apatow movie since Knocked Up. So we'll see.
Wow that was amazing. That they kept joke going for 18 minutes was feat in of itself, but it was good both as a homage and funny too. The Facts of Life thread got me good, especially when she was interviewing people on the street.
One could say that the point of the sketch is to show the absurdity of reality. To some people, that's humorous. To others, it's not. But if it accomplishes its goal of making you think 'wow, this is stupid/crazy' then that's good enough.

Well yeah, I wouldn't ague about the message being bad, it is good enough. I was specifically commenting it not being funny to me, but that has more to do with the presentation, delivery, and the fact that I don't generally find Amy funny in the first place.
