All of it still sadly.
Expect the opposite in terms of performance. OP will hold more apps in memory be way quicker and smoother experience.
In the end it's what you prefer. Samsung will have better screen, features and camera. While OP will be way better on software experience.
OP also has their horrendous customer support should anything go wrong.
Yeah, gonna cancel too. No OIS and a wack camera kinda kills it
Apparently they are working on it? They spent all that money on that feel good video!
I've had issues with samsung though. Only Apple is good.
Oh great, OP cheating in the benchmark game:

Everyone cheats at benchmarks lol. Don't really see the point. Expect similar performance from same chips.
Don't get why people care about software support for oneplus that much. These phones hold resale value better than pretty much any other android phone because they don't go on sale the day after launch.
Just upgrade every year!

With bezels that big, you would think they could have dual front firing speakers on there. The abysmal screen to body ratio, average battery life, and good but not great camera alongside the price tag - makes this a pass.
I'm thinking 93 Dx0 score. Funny it wasn't mentioned during the stream...
Is OP5 camera worse than OP3T?
Dash charge is legit, honestly wish that tech was on everything
But but, I read here than 8GB will finally make the phone "smooth"!8 gigs of RAM in a phone is a complete waste of time.
Even for futureproofing sake, 6 gigs is plenty.
It is in most things. They just call it Qualcomm Quick Charge.

OhhhhhQualcomm quick charge is much slower than dash charge.
Hmm...I was excited for the OP5 but I think I'd rather just spend a little more for the Moto Z2 (getting announced this month?) or maybe the S8 with the deals they're having.
Besides 8GB RAM, does it do anything better?

HTC just gave me $50 off for pre-ordering the Red U11
Yeah. I went on chat and asked is there a code available, and she gave me one. Ymmv, of courseIs there a code?

Well guys I went and bought a OP5 even though I have a pixel
I'm prepared for the backlash curse me getting so bored with devices so quickly I need to check myself into some sort of help programme.
DoneCan you PM me the code? I might consider grabbing one.
So tons of RAM, super fast storage and still USB 2.0?
#neversettle
Besides being the fastest and smoothest android experience around until op6, that's really about all it has atm lol.
If performance isn't an issue get a s8. So many deals like daily.
Hope I can sell one of these OnePlus 5 for $50 profit when they came in since I'll have it before official release. I need to try out the dcip3 color spectrum setting to see if it prevents me from getting headaches looking at their shitty pentile screen.
Also usb 3.0 is pretty pointless on a smartphone. At least it has Bluetooth 5.0. That will be big in Oreo.
How is it useless? Especially if you have your own media it's a huge difference. You don't realize how slow 2.0 is until you use 3.0 consistently and then go back.
What was so impressive for an impluse buy? The ram?Well guys I went and bought a OP5 even though I have a pixel

It's typically around 3x faster for me. Only a big difference when transferring gigabytes of data, which I never do to my phone, but everyone is different.
It's lazy plain and simple. Or cheap. Same thing.
