The moto 360 is pretty much the only one that I want.
I want the Moto 360 as well but i ordered the gear live for the mean time to check my notifications at work without getting written up for using my phone.
Can't wait to receive it in a few days but i'm less excited now that the reviews are that low.

How's the battery life? My "dumb" watch lasts more than two years with one little battery.
These things seem cool but I'm used to always having a digital clock on my wrist. Having to take it off for recharging all the time is a deal breaker. Notifications on my wrist aren't worth the trouble.
Forgot the Sony SmartWatch 2

Complete artificial need. No one needs this crap.
Moto 360 looks good but I'm not too keen on the strap.

Weird that they dont have a Nest app on release, would be sweet, anyone has any pictures/videos of how apps that do a ton of stuff look in wear?
From the Verge "Bad Stuff" section...
-Screen is impossible to see outside

Just received this beauty. Looks a bit better in person.
did color e-ink screens just never materialize? or still too expensive or something?

Yea people don't like buying first generation devices because they are pretty much a beta test and something better always comes out in the second generation. I like the watch so far but i wish I didn't have to charge it every night. It works perfectly for my restaurant job though, because i can see notifications right away without having to pull out my phone and getting in trouble for it. It also isn't ugly like the Pebble.wow I guess people really dont care about Smart watches, even on GAF we can't conversation going about them.... thread's dead...
Any impressions?
how is the visibility on the screen outside?

How does it work with Google Maps? I was pretty hyped for Transit Navigation with android wear but that hasn't been added yet, has it?

No. The closest is Qualcomm's Mirasol display which is also reflective.did color e-ink screens just never materialize? or still too expensive or something?
