Before the event I would make 50-100k just by fishing. I also have slightly too many fruit trees which gives me a nice income. My whole island is full with trees until I decide to clean them up but for now it gives me nice bells.

Right, managed to find an island to sell at 122, so a small profit.
Online for this game is awful at times. If there are a lot of people heading in and out of an island it interrupts for a cutscene each time the leave and arrive so you constantly get interrupted. Madness.
But at least I managed to help out a few folks with things they needed along the way

I wound getting the surgeonfish on a mystery island first catch. Now I only need fleas and ants for the museum. That would wrap up April, save for the daily fossils.
I also managed to craft all of the Bunny Day items. There is a bonus for doing so, right? Like the Bunny dude mentioned it. I will have to wait and see I guess.
