I don't get hw people who don't speak Japanese would want to buy the JP version, though.. the writing is 90% of the fun.

So jealous of you folks! I'm watching a stream right now and I'm liking what I'm seeing. What stands out to me is that the background music is so so much better than Wild World and City Folk. I'm so excited to get this in the US.

My code is 0688-6502-1585 , I accidentally bought a spare fishing rod so I'll leave it just outside the front of my house if that works?

Do these fortune cookie things yield Nintendo items rather often? Seems these "Nintendo cameo items" are much easier to get than in Let's Go to the City/City Folk (where one had to buy them from Nook's silly reward system at extortionate prices... many of them at least >_<).

Have you guys paid the house debt? Not the first 10k to build it, but the big one that's like 30k or something like that. I already paid off most of it, only have 9,672 bells left to pay.

I did last night. The next one's around 90k for a bigger first floor, but you don't have to upgrade if you don't want to.

I can speak only for myself, but I'm really loving this. And this is coming from somebody whos only spent a few hours in Animal Crossing DS. I kinda got bored back then. Another fact that keeps me playing this one is due to it being installed on my system and the much better connectivity. I love this game!

Tee hee hee. I love this game. I feel like I'm fourteen and playing Wide World again for the first time.

Shame not all the features are open yet, but I suppose that'll keep me playing for a while trying to unlock them all.

Also, got fortune #48 today which was
Three Mario Kart Bananas
. Apparently my game is trolling me with these.

OH WOW! Maybe everybody knew already, and maybe this was also on the Wii version which I didn't play but...

If you press the LEFT and RIGHT on the D-Pad it rotates between all your tools in your inventory. If you press down, it takes it off.

BTW, what are you guys doing to get money? I've been mostly fishing, as right now the only tools I have are the fishing rod and the shovel. Got both of those yesterday and today :(

Also what fruit did you guys get? I got apples, though today I also received a dorian from one of the animals in my town, so in a few days I'll have extra dorians...

I got cherries, some apples from Shizue, some peaches from LG and some oranges from Will (can't remember who that is on here).

In a few days I'll have one of them all for trade.

This game should have a myriad of options for customizing your face, similar to Mii creation.


Also, is there any connectivity with digital/physical copies of this game?

I like owning physical copies for my collection, but I have to admit this is the PERFECT game to have stored on your 3DS at all times. Can my digital and physical copies share save files? I'm assuming not :(

Wild World turned into me farming one of three different foreign fruit orchards every day for maximum money. It became a chore and I stopped playing. I hope this game doesn't devolve into the same thing.

Ive been constantly catching bugs. My town peaches is what grows apparently. Had gotten cherries and planted 3 of those.

Just an FYI sort of, but you can upload images directly from your 3DS. 2ch gives a guide (I translated to save posting the Japanese)

1. Take photos with L+R in game.
2. Press them home button to return to the home menu.
3. Go to the internet browser.
4. Go to dotup.org (think this works with any uploader) (works well with dotup for this reason)
5. Select the file you want to upload and upload it
6. You can add a password to your file if you want to keep it private
7. Access dotup on your PC and select your file from the list
8. Copy the URL and post it in the thread

e.g. My new villager <3

Oh and also how's your current evaluation as a mayor? I'm at 57 points right now. I guess I need to grow some flowers but I don't see them being sold anywhere... :( And I sold most of my fruit on my first day to pay for the house so I don't have any. I've also been talking with some people around town and whatnot, but still...
