There have been some attempts at combining anime & stop motion, but they seem to be either short segments or fan parody videos on youtube.


I cannot quite put a finger on it but I'm getting flashbacks of Rankin Bass christmas specials.











Anime + Stop motion seems to be good for making parody videos, but is bad at convincing the audience to take it seriously, perhaps because it looks EXACTLY like toys.

This one feels like anime to me.
Perhaps I am conditioned to expect cute shit & girls that have big eyes, when something is supposed to be anime.




Personally I consider this to be not anime.
