Spybot cant get ready of these:CoolWWWSearch, DSO Exploit, IE Plugin, VX2/f.
My solution has always been just to format, given I have Norton, other stuff etc this does not happen to often but its time I learn how to fix these.
What is simplist method? My brother is asking me fix his pc as well and dont think the format option is too his liking P

Did you update? Adaware gets rid of most of them for me.. It seems to work better than Spybot anymore.

DSO exploit is a little difficult to get rid of. I've been through google -- and unless I'm missing something -- there wasn't any easy way to eliminate it from your computer. I remembered someone mentioning using spoybot to locate the registry keyts that DSO exploit affects, then deleting them, but the directions weren't very precise. One poster suggested that you use the "program exclude feature" on spybot and got a bunch of priase for it... despite the fact it only ignores the problem and just refuses to display anything DSO related.

Have you tried using HiJackThis?
