Another flame of love snuffed out

is beloved, despite what anyone might say
Hmm, I still haven't dated a girl who really likes prog and trance (they're definitely out there) and/or knows the difference between trance and "techno". Though I don't let that get to me... like if they don't want to go to a show or something, I'll just go without em :lol

But I've also dated girls whom I've had *NOTHING* in common with... that didn't work out well at all. Midwestern white conservative girl who liked Dave Matthews and shopped at Abercrombie and hated games and thought Princess Mononoke was the worst movie ever. She was pretty hot tho (that's prolly why I dated her) :p

I'd rather be cliche than so shallow that one of my demands of any girl I get involved with be that she "put out" by the 3rd date

Then I'm shallow. Quite honestly, I know what I want in life. Yes, it will evolve in time but I'm not going to adhere to the Disney fantasy or the After School special mechanics of relationships. Companionship is good but should not be essential. I'm an independent man who is not ashamed for his wants and needs. Some men are different, like you.

What they love is each other. And it's corny, yeah. But it's true.

Controversy is good. Agreeing all the time would become ridiculously boring. Went out with a girl who was like that. Not sure if she actually agreed with me but soon it became boring.

That's a 2-way street. I wouldn't date a nasty guy who expected me to "put out" after 3 dates either. I'm also old-fashioned (well, just old in general) and I realize that.

We're all different people. I've lost a few girls who did not do so. I have nothing against them. They have their own prerogative in life and I have mine. I don't get pissed because I know there are girls out there that will fit with what I want in a relationship.

I'm not old fashioned either though. I think feminism is great just for the higher levels of promiscuity and choice. Feminism is about equal rights for men too and I'm exercising that right. Its awesome.
