Some of you might remember a thread about these hackings recently. Here is one more-

DHAKA: A Hindu priest was hacked to death on Friday at a temple in Bangladesh, police and senior administrative officials said.

Bangladesh, a Muslim-majority nation of 160 million people, has seen a surge in violent attacks in few months on liberal activists, members of minority Muslim sects and other religious groups by Islamist extremists.

Police said they did not know the motive behind the killing of the Hindu priest and no one had been arrested.

Here you can see details of all the other killings-

Pakistan has barely any Hindus left. I suppose Bangladesh wants it that way too. Hail religion!

All the focus is on ISIS these days, the world forgets that there are several other places where religious fanatics reign free :/

Eeh fanatics in every religion Hindus burnin Christian priests Hindus and Muslims killing each other etc etc . Yeah Islam has been at center stage due to Palestine Kashmir an obviously now the war on the west . But these zealots exist everywhere . I'm just glad Hindu fanatics so far haven't blown up and Hinduism is a non expansionist religion and yet you see fanatics within it .

Please don't create threads about news stories whose sole point is to horrify and appall people. This applies equally to stories about horrible events and to random, petty local tragedies of no greater significance. It makes people's experience of our community worse if they have to tiptoe in between threads about mundane atrocities just to participate in the OT. Real news stories of cultural import are fine, even when they're about something horrific happening, but if the right response to a story is mostly just "wow that's awful" it probably shouldn't get a thread.
