Another masker vs anti-masker fight

Imagine turning up to an Uber for those 3. You’d know it was a bad idea 3 seconds after they got in the car.

Best thing would be to lock all the doors until they put on masks or just drive off.

Complete animals. Looks like they were refusing to leave the car after being already asked.

Uber makes you check a thing saying you will wear a mask when a driver is about to arrive. I hate mask Karens a much as anyone but this is different.

I mean, is it that much to ask when you go into a store, your pharmacy, taxi or public services
To pop on a Mask for a few Minutes
Those workers have to wear them for hours and I'm sure they hate them as much as anyone else yet people can't mask up for 5 minutes.
Anyway, those in the video look like scum

I'm against wearing masks outside, but I don't have any problem putting them on for a few minutes in stores, closed spaces or public transport. There's absolutely no reason to start confrontations with other people or make them lose their jobs because of allowing someone to be served without a mask. The driver should've called the cops if the passengers didn't want to leave peacefully.

It is hilarious to pretend that you are deathly frightened of a disease to the point of fascistically enforcing mask wearing on everyone, yet you think it's ok to get close and fight a guy. That's hilarious. Like at that point, you have foregone your own argument. You are just a bully.

It's like, even the Mask Karens don't really believe their shit. Otherwise they would be fleeing like the maskless were leperosy patients. Instead they confront and touch the people! Even they don't believe their own shit.

I'll never get this aggressive behavior.
Even if you are against masks, you'd rather do that than just put on a mask for a few minutes?

If you are against the mask mandate on Uber complain to the actual company, don't assault the driver. I bet these are the same sort of people that will get aggressive with the minimum wage store clerk because they don't like the prices or some item was out of stock.

Why would you not just put it on for curtesy? Your going in someone’s car.
I get frequent headaches and yes wearing a mask gives me a headache which may or may not spiral into a migraine. The less amount of time I have to wear the fucking things the better. Some days I can’t even stand my glasses on my face and I made sure to buy the lightest frames I could buy, cost an arm and a leg but somedays even their weight is too much pressure on my face.

I asked a customer to slip the mask over their nose just a couple of days ago, so he pulled it all the way down and coughed in my face.

I have to wear these fucking things for 10 hours a day and assholes won't put them on for 10 minutes. It took all of my restraint to not flatten his nose. Every single God damn tiresome day I have to ask probably more than 100 customers to put a mask on or wear it properly.

Right? My company mandated masks a year ago and I’ve had to wear one ever since. NO ONE likes wearing masks but it’s something we have to deal with until the pandemic is under control. Spitting in the face of someone just trying to maintain their livelihood is vile.

A lot of these anti-mask people work from home or don’t have jobs but constantly complain about masks. Until they’re out in the thick of it almost every day having to deal with the shit stains of the world, maybe they should just put the damn masks on as a simple courtesy.

The one I posted is the main instigator.

Also, she removed a bunch of stuff from her Instagram since I posted it.

The workers and everyone else has a choice at this point. They can take them off. If everyone would take them off, the government can’t do shit about it. They’re not going to fine everyone. They’ll be forced to end the mandate or face a serious insurrection.

Unfortunately, two things stand in the way: the mask Karens who think wearing a mask still makes a difference. And herd mentality that keeps everyone afraid of disobeying big brother.

The pandemic is over. In my state, 20% have gotten vaccinated and there is only 1,037 people in the hospital currently (out of 10,000,000 in population) and that number is falling every day. In my county, there hasn’t been a COVID death in about 2 months.

It’s over. Time to take the masks off. But you watch, there will be a new kind of segregation. One based on fear and politics. These interactions will continue until someone flips the script.

What?
No they are mandatory by the employer to comply to government operating guidelines.
You obviously are referring to the US?

Yes it does, we told our bosses if they sack us for not wearing a mask or taking vaccine they'll get come back.

Where I work they made it part of the uniform, has the company colours and logo. They'll sack you for not wearing the correct uniform to work which I imagine they can get away with.

If an employee working in an environment where face coverings are required refuses to wear one, the employer should ask them for the reason. If the employee does not have a legitimate reason for not wearing a face covering, a failure to wear one is likely to be a refusal to follow the employer's reasonable instruction and therefore grounds for beginning a disciplinary process.

Where an employee has a legitimate reason for not wearing a face covering, and is exempt under the relevant Regulations, the employer should consider if their role could be adjusted so that they can keep at least 2m from others or be separated from others by a screen. The employer's risk assessment should include consideration of other options, such as the use of a face visor/shield. Employers must ensure that they do not discriminate against employees with a disability when enforcing rules on wearing face coverings. The employer should discuss with the employee what reasonable adjustments could be made.

Although Government guidance for England states that people do not need to provide medical evidence of their reason for not wearing a face covering, this will not necessarily always apply in an employment setting. Where it is necessary to consider reasonable adjustments for a disabled employee, or where the employer has reasonable grounds for thinking that the employee is falsely claiming to be exempt, the employer will generally be justified in asking for evidence.

As I said, it maybe different in the US, but in the UK
A disciplinary or a dismissal is the only thing you gonna get.

All my recent uber drivers in the past year let me go maskless, the Florida life.

We have been able to not wear masks for pretty much the entire time. But, if a place or Uber driver requests it I’ll put it on.

why people want to die on a hill over this is fucking stupid

It works that way in both countries and in both countries if the workers all rebelled there is no way the government will be able to stop them without an all out insurrection.

But don’t worry, it will never happen. People are too scared of their gov for all of them to agree to do it.
