It's one of the most over rated games of all time and I'm sick of people saying it's good. It's meh. Nothing more, nothing less. Stupid battles and terrible voice acting mixed with a dumb story, which apparently has to do with some horny sailors. WHO CARES.

Give me a real game Sega, like a good Sonic or VF5.

Shenmue is good. Well, at least Shenmue II is.

As for who cares, well...apparantly many people as this thread is mostly filled with people praying for the series return. Perhaps you should rephrase your reply to "I don't care" to which we can share your level of apathy at least where you are concerned.

I loved the atmosphere of the small Japanese town in Shenmue 1. There was also so much to do. Can't remember the story very well, the VA was terrible, but the graphics at the time impressed me. I also loved the music.

Did SEGA ever get around to porting Shenmue 1 to XBox?

I'd love to see a Shenmue 1 and 2 packed-together (with enhanced visuals) for X360 or PS3, followed shortly by Shenmue 3. This series had/has a lot of potential. Sadly it was WAY overhyped out the gate thanks to Yu Suzuki claiming "most revolutionary game EVAR" prior to it's release.

In answer to your question the answer is no. However, they did include "Shenmue the Movie" with every Shenmue 2 sold, so you can at least follow the story. I would expect that if part 3 does make it out, a video compilation of what happened would probably be all we'll get.
