This is becoming an epidemic, mine started freezing up last night.....the dreaded black and green checkered freeze-ups.

*sigh* and I was looking forward to playing it over my reading week break

Yeah, I called them up, luckily I've still got 1 month left on my warranty. Now I hope MS comes though, I hope I don't have to go through what Stooge did.

Nothing, just playing regularily when it froze (first time the screen went black). I knew this was a bad sign since all previous freeze-ups (just a handful since launch) just froze whatever image was on the screen. Afterwards COD2 started freezing up with the black and green checkered pattern, same with Kameo. Its going back to MS in a few days...

mine locks up every once in a blue moon, I got a 1 year or whatever from gamecrazy so whatever, its mainly getting another one from them with current supply issues haha
