I went to WAGs boutique and all I got was a sniff
Currenly on my laptop I dont have an anti-virus software and before I get an internet connection onto it I want to buy a good anti-virus software. The common one that people have suggested to me is norton anti-virus. I dont know much about anti-virus software, but I also need something that protects against viruses, spyware, adware etc. Any suggestions would be useful. I dont want something that can only be upgraded by purchasing and upgrade, I want something simple and good to use.

Norton has some of the best features, but it lets too many viruses through. AVG is free and quite good, but it doesn't scan every single program all the time the way norton does. I currently use both and using Ad-Aware and Spybot in addition, I have little trouble.

There was a thread with some great suggestions just a couple of months back. Search for that.

Ive just looked at AVG and ad-aware. AVG looks really good and its free aswell, which is all the better. For my PC, I downloaded something called eaccelerator, Its managed to detect a lot of viruses but you need to pay online to get the viruses cured, which I cant do because my dad refuses to give away his CC details.
