Any Chicagoeans familiar with the japanese restaurants downtown?

There's this one japanese restaurant downtown around the blues district that I want to know the name of. A friend and I walked in there last march and walked back out because it was insanely expensive. Looked cool as hell, though. It was some incredibly swanky place that looked like it was run by the japanese mafia or something. Pretty sure when you walked in there's a staircase on the left and the bar is off to the right. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Hmm......that's a hell of a list.

Another thing....I'm pretty sure it's fairly close to Rainforest Cafe, like a five or ten minute walk from it. And it's two or three blocks from the restaurant Ed Debevic's, if you're familiar.

Mitsuwa Marketplace is in Arlignton Heights and not too far away from downtown; they have an appreciable array of restaurants there as well. Might be worth it for you to check out if you have the time.

Recently when I was walking around by the Wrigley Field / The Alley area (Clark & Belmont) there were a few oriental/japanese restaurants there as well. Not sure of any quality, unfortunately.
