Any info on GT4 U.S. soundtrack?

Game is coming out in 1 1/2 weeks I haven't seen any info about the U.S. soundtrack. Will it be the same tracks from PAL or JPN's version?

The intro is very artistic. Have you seen it? The US GT3 intro just doesn't feel the same compared to the Japanese version. For some reason I know it will be some random rock tune that replaces the grand majesty that is the GT4 Japanese Intro! Call me crazy, but I am the same way with videogames as I am with anime, when intros get messed with during the translation process, it infuriates me. Leave it alone, Kazunori Yamauchi doesn't want it messed with either! :)
 
I actually liked the US opening music to parts 1 and 2, but 3 was fucking horrendous. I'm totally with Biglesworth23's on this one.

What were the opening songs for 1 and 2? I've never played 2, and it's been so long since I played 1 (only borrowed it from a friend for a little).

GT1 - Everything Must Go - Manic Street Preachers (remixed by Chemical Brothers)
GT2 - My Favorite Game - The Cardigans (best US GT intro song by far)
 
in the pal version you can actually switch from the european soundtrack to the complete (!) japanese and american ost.

i am looking forward to see, if the us version gets all the extras, the pal game has.

I watched the intro nearly every single time I booted up GT3, believe it or not. :P
 
Yeah,seriously,the GT2 intro music really was appropriated and was a good match with the screen.Best intro in the GT serie so far.


Anyone got a link to the Japanese GT4 intro?

The american GT1 opening is CRAP, a fucking PIECE OF SHIT, I tell you. The video was synched perfectly to Moon Over The Castle. For the US version they just slapped that shitty techno song over it. Bleh. At least with GT2 they bothered to re-edit it. GT3, I'm not sure.

It's not that big of a deal,but I would like that option.
 
Yeah,I've played it(lemans) and to be honest this one really needed a save option.It took me about 4 days to do it.Thank god for no lack of power :)

Alright, these are good songs but what's with the rest of the music? James Brown and Bootsy Collins in a racing game? Am I missing something here?? (Not saying they're bad, just why are they in a racer?)
 
I'd love to think this might finally be the GT game where Sony has the balls to leave the Japanese theme song intact for the intro...

They'll probably leave the beginning of the intro intacked...but when it goes to game footage, they'll probably use some lame licensed song :P

I'd cringe to hear some shitty rock band on there too, but that guitar playing is uber lame. They'd really have to pick something commercial and disgusting to make it worse. The beginning is tremendous.

I agree that the Lenny tune didn't work at all as a theme song. But actually, the original Are You Gonna Go My Way is the only Lenny tune I like. But that remix of it sucked massive volumes of ass. Whoever remixed it needs a punch to the throat.
