Any last minute predictions on how well Fallout 4 will rate critically?

Any last minute predictions on how well Fallout 4 will rate critically? I suspect it will be some people/reviewers GOTY but what are its chances of topping The Witcher 3 or Metal Gear Solid V this year?

I suspect people in the industry who already have review copies in their hands, have a fair idea how this is going to pan out. I personally feel this is the last release this year that has an above average chance of beating out the big two. Your thoughts?

I'm expecting 9-10s across the board purely because it's highly anticipated. Whether or not it deserves those accolades is another question.

I'm expecting plenty of 9's and 10's.

92 MC score overall.

It's a big-name franchise with a much hyped sequel by Bethesda, what do you think is going to happen?

For how people think of it once the hype has settled down, we shall see.

Universal acclaim and awards despite at least one of the versions being broken at launch and the game basically being a re-skinned Fallout 3.

I'm still buying it day one though, like the sheep that I am.

I think we're looking at a mid 90s. The game seems to have responded to a lot of criticism of the former entries. More colorful graphics, supposedly improved shooting mechanics, plus the whole town building aspect. Seems like it'll hit well with critics.

It'll be praised to high heavens in the first few weeks as usual until the honeymoon high is over and people once again start realizing that Bethesda is simply not that great at actual game design.

It's going to review well regardless of quality, which is why I will wait for impressions
This.

And somewhat this. I haven't enjoyed a Bethesda game in a while. They create nice worlds but I find the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired.

I expect it to have piss-poor writing and quest design and critics will still somehow award it "Best RPG of all time" by the end of the year.

That's my guess. High 80s would be very surprising, but possible. Stuff like the settlement building and voiced protag and plot could be a big bust. But it's unlikely. Even if they aren't great that Bethesda special sauce should guard them against any really damning reviews. Most people will still find the game amazing despite any flaws. So a low 90s score is a good bet.

Non-crash bugs = low-mid 90s, depending on how well the new features stack up with what differentiates 4 from unmodded 3/NV

Pre-parch NV-level bugs = maaaaybe mid-high 80s. Curious to see what the other, if any, common negatives/complaints are going to be, though.

High 80's (85-88)
Pros: Expansive world and refined mechanics from Fallout 3/New Vagas, story is more investing due to the character choice/male and female MC's, world is interesting to explore, the new mechanics (making your base, weapons customization, ect) praised for being implemented well
Cons: Bad performance on both PS4 and X1, the MP modes (others invading your base) criticized for weaker gameplay/being an distraction, story's conclusion potentially being underwhelming, mech mode doesn't add a lot to the combat mechanics and is (maybe?) overused

These are all guesses on my part, so I would be very happy if there is no cons at all :D!
