At least quote me man :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Glad you found 3 that interest you.

NeoGAF dislikes the show...

Easily A

Dawn of War 4
Resident Evil 9
World of Warcraft Midnight
ROUTINE
Cronos the New Dawn
Fallout Season 2
He-Man game

Dawn of War 4, RE9, and WOW Midnight, either one of these three is already way better than every game this year by themselves so super hyped even if it's just these three.

I don't think the problem is the show, but the games. E3 could come back, so what? The games would still suck.
Well least there will be free demo, cringe but entertaining and surprising stage announcements, freebies, impressive booth set up and booth babes (hopefully beautiful and sexy biological women) :messenger_beaming:

Pretty good for me, it delivered great trailers of games that to me are shaping up to be excellent titles like RE9, Ghost of Yotei, Silent Hill f, Onimusha, Ninja Gaiden 4.
Yesterday there was also a fantastic trailer for Phantom Blade Zero which was basically part of Gamescom.
Don't know what people are expecting, Gamescom was never E3 and E3 is dead anyway.

I voted: B :)

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for the Nintendo Switch 2.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Perl of Destruction for the Nintendo Switch.

LEGO - Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight for the Nintendo Switch 2.

These are my personal Highlights of ONL 2025 :)

These shows are like open world games now. There's like a good piece of meat there, but you have to eat an entire horses ass to get there.

Very bloated. In all a solid D

Rating: Solid B when compared to everything else, but with a side note that this was technically the best Gamescom-specific showing.

A lot of new I.P. and not only that, quite a few of them with gameplay snippets. Geoff as usual has the show pacing problem where he has a moment of things slowing down about 3/5 of the way through the show, then picking up at the very end. It needed a couple more big bang moments to be an A.

How many of them were Single Player and how many were live service/gaas multiplayer games?

Before I answer, do you count games with Co-op as a feature as single player? For example, He-man is a beat em up that can be played solo, but like most beat em ups, it has co-op.

If so I can separate this by PvE and PvP

Edit, I will just answer:

27 are PvE either Single player or with optional co-op

4 are confirmed live service-types or have confirmed DLC roadmaps

4 are unknown but come from companies known for live service (like Honor of Kings: World for example).

Guess I'd give it a low B.

Best looking Call of Duty...ever?
6 or so other games that are mildly intriguing.

Better than most shows but nothing great that stands out.

I'd say C+ or B-: no megatons but a lot of good stuff for many player types, and almost no crap games. I made a list with all games shown there: In bold my personal favorites:

F uck me that was fucking awful. The state of gaming today is largely in an abysmal state. GAAS service has ruined gaming and the people lapping that shit up need to be fucking rounded up and fucked off from gaming forever.

It was terrible but that's good for me because it means I can play through more of my backlog the next 6-12 months.

I gave it a D. Only games I was excited about were games that I had already known about. They spent way too much time on a crossover. They brought out the B team co-host. It was a lot of pomp and circumstance when there's no one graduating. Chronos was the highlight for me, but again...seen it.

My expectations were low and it still got a D.

Pretty shite. I'll give it a D because of the train on rails game, the Cronos release date, and some Indy DLC footage. Would've rated it higher if the RE9 footage was actually worth a fuck. But, here we are.

I'm sure this is great for someone, just not me anymore. I'm not the audience for many of these games. I'm cool with it.

*Goes back to collecting wood in Stronghold.

E, only because of Lego Batman and Dawn of War 4. Other than that, nothing new or interesting to me. Was a fucking snoozefest as usual.

C to me, it was a smaller scale show without a real huge anchor. Variety was great even if there wasn't a lot of standout content. A good mix of old and new.
