My boyfriend found out today that he has Measles (Rubella), he went to the hospital and took 3 shots and was told not to attend college for 1 week, I didn't know what this disease was until I googled it... Anyway I didn't see him in the last 24 hours and wont be seeing him until tomorrow, should I be worried of getting the disease from him, or will I be okay if my immune system is funtioning well? We made out the last time I saw him so chances are he already passed the virus to me but I'm not suffering from any symptoms (yet)... I don't know if I was ever vaccinated for it or not.

I don't know, but a couple of days ago he wasn't feeling very well and had a slight fever, I didn't notice any red rash on his skin (the primary symptom of measles), but he said that he has them now.
