Do we have any word about any new franchises that either MS, Sony, or Nintendo 1st and 2nd parties are developing for the next-generation?
So far it seems like sequelitis is even more overwhelming than it has been this gen. I guess with a launch you typically want a few established franchises to be available for familiarity, but Halo and Pikmin have shown that new franchises are more than welcome in the launch window.
I guess we'll get a better idea after tonight, it's just weird we haven't even heard many rumblings of new franchises.
