The Black Gelding

So, for this year, 2005, what are your resolutions?
I usually don't have any, but I think I am in serious need for some this year. My lack have goals have created a sort of apathetic indolence. I need a kickstart.
So here are mine:
Do my homework, be more responsible, and get my GPA back up to a 3.7. It won't be easy, but if I do the first two, it shouldn't be that hard... as Arnold would say, I "...lack discipline." It takes 21 days to pick up a habit... so if I can do my homework, throughly for a month, I figure it will become second nature. That includes weekends...
Do something more constructive with my time. Write some more skits, pick up drawing again, or do something else (the sewing machine beckons) Messing around on GA, and playing videogames is great, but other than a few laughs from me and my friends, it yields little in the way of "staying" power. Very little since of accomplishment.
Learn to speed read. I hear speed reading is really good for ACT/SAT etc.
Stop being so hard on myself. Apparently, I am a pretty pessimistic when it comes to achieving my goals. Something I thought wasn't true, until my guidance councilor pointed out that I only notice negative things about myself.
Hopefully, I can do all of these things. It will be hard sticking to them and changing my frame of thinking/acting... but I think I can do it.
Okay, that's about it for me. What about yours?
