come on, i'm hungry for anything tastey regarding Nintendo Revolution and the next GameBoy.

Revolution, since it is coming after Xenon, will probably be getting a somewhat faster/different graphics unit, right? Xenon graphics are no doubt finished as far as architecting, but Revolution has a ways to go, I think, since it won't ship until 2006.

GameBoy Next won't ship until 2006 or 2007, so it should have plenty of time to surpass PSP technology, at least somewhat, while keeping cost down and battery life high.

ATI ATI ATI ATI what is going on over there, regarding Nintendo. havent heard shit for awhile.

that does not even take into account the 'revolutionary' gameplay features of Revolution :D

hungry for something tasty, eh?

here's the scoop I heard from my Nintendo insiders the other day:
Revolution is housed in the corpse of a dead infant. Nintendo's approach is that there's nothing more mature than playing your games out of the belly of a dead baby.

I know this has nothing to do with Revolution or GBNext, but I kinda want to have some more fun with my current systems before I have to upgrade. I'd like to see continued GBA and GC support through 2007. I just hope Nintendo doesn't just kick the 'cube to the curb like they did with the N64.

I doubt the GC will see support in 2007, but I do think Nintendo is planning some decent support until the Revolution's release (some time in 2006). In fact, I firmly believe that Mario 128 will be the GC's last big first party game, not the new LoZ.

like all nintendo revolutions it will be something you already know from PC/workstations but in a user-friendly console-gamer compatible way. Force Feedback, Analogstick, VR-glove, touchscreen... all adopted and nintendofied. So check PCs and Workstations to get a good guess what's their next "innovation".

i would speculate there will probably be a touch pad like you see on laptops, integrated into the controller, among other things maybe wireless controllers with recharge bays on the system. some kind of online plan i would imagine.

Come on now, this is Nintendo.

Dont hold your breath mate, at least with Next. I mean come on, DS just launched, we wont hear about it for quite long time.

2 weeks in on the DS and you think they are going to talk about the next handheld already? The only new Nintendo handheld you'll see in the next 3 years will be maybe a revision of the DS.

Can gyration's stuff detect forward and backward positioning? For example, could your arm back and then throw it forward to simulate a baseball pitch?

Game Boy Next should simply be a portable GC. It's on the top of my list of platforms that have been horribly underutilized.

It senses both yaw and pitch. I don't know what that means, but if I were to venture a guess, I would say yes to your questions.

now that both DS and now the PSP have launched I'd expect to hear a few more dribbles on the new GameBoy. maybe even more if PSP takes off (like it won't) :lol
