My little brother plays it every day. It looks really neat. Too bad I never play strategy games :(

You should give it a try. Play from the start. You will be beyond hooked. Its much much better than any C&C and Warcraft.

I really like playing the turn based Civilzation clone part of the game, and I liked playing the battles, atleast the first few of them. I found myself leaning heavily on the "Resolve Battle" button as the game went on.

The main part of the game is the battles. The campaign is good fun but its the battles where you should spend time. :D I only resolved ones i didnt want to do but the large battlkes are excellent. Storming the really large city walls are tough etc. and you learn more by doing loads of battles. Playing against human players is great.

Campaign gives you many uninteresting battles. Since there are so many. Its satisfying playing a battle where the resolve button would make you lose and you win it for real.

yeah, i've done that. it's a nice ego boost :)

i think i was outnumbered 1:2 and the enemy had better units.

Yeah. Making sure your army is organized is important. The CPU makes dumb mistakes sometimes but Killing a general ussualy does wonders ;)

What kind of rig got you those screenshots?

these are from websites.

My pc slows down when armies are very large. It can handle 2000 perfectly fine on max.
