Just curious to see if anyone plays paintball. If you do post your gun setup and equipment. I use a Spyder E-99, which is about to be sold so I can get a new '04 Cocker with an Eblade. Then I plan to get the Empire barrel kit with a Evo2 hopper because my Halo TSA isn't cutting it. For my mask I have a DYE Invision with a mrrored lens that makes me look awesome I also have a nitro tank, 68 4500, and a 3 pod DYE pack.

Yeah, sometimes I like to paint them a flourescent orange, but then the paint sticks to my hair when it dries, and it hurts.

I was a big fan of playing with slingshots, but outside of my group of friends, I haven't found another person who has even tried it that way.

The only thing I liked more about using guns was that they didn't hurt as much... well, that and you couldn't shoot yourself in the hand. OW.

Even if you do surrender ppl still shoot somtimes. Tag alone with someone that is experienced. DONT BE A PUSSY!

Wear 2 pairs of underwear, and an extra pair of pants under your gear. You want to protect the crotch area as much as possible. Hell bust out a cup if you have to, but you don't want a paintball hitting you flush in the nads.

also, don't try to force it. Its very likely you might not even get a kill your first time out. Try to conserve some ammo instead of just spraying at anything that moves.

Ducktaping a piece of cardboard within the crotch of your pants works too. I only did that once though. I never wear any extra protection for the crotch. Never been hit there and I have played quite a bit. Although I came close ot getting hit there the other day. By the way, are you playing woodsball or are you playing in a hyperball or speedball field?

i just wear a t-shirt and some camos, hat and mask. Really getting hit in the arms/legs is no big deal. it hurts, but when your adrenaline is pumping. You MUST protect the balls though. I used to wear a neck protector too (its a piece of foam that goes around your neck like a collar) but that thing felt annoying so i stopped using it.

My mask had the chin and next protector. Thats basically all the equip you need. Just make sure you dont go trigger happy and dont underestimate pump guns. Those have amazing accuracy.

what do you guys prefer to play? personally i think speedball fields fuckin suck. I usually like to just drive up into some secluded wooded area and throw down a game there. Its much cooler being able to stalk people and use a little bit of stealth imo.

Yeah woodsball is fun, and good to do every now and then, but I prefer hyperball. 50 yards long and maybe 15-20 wide, bunkers everywhere. When you get 3v3 or 5v5 going it is awesome. Gotta work together though in order to win. After playing it a few times you get hooked and just about never go back to woodsball.

i guess im just bitter about speedball because the last time i played that me and my friends got our asses kicked by a team of 12 year olds. And those little fuckers used those bleachbals that stain your clothes. fuckers.

Trasher, you and me are now buds. I too am a desciple of the paint. I own, EVIL Pimp Kit, EVIL Omen, Piranha EVO, and Tippmann A5 markers. I started out playing woodsball (like most people) but have now graduated to the purifying combat of speedball. My father plays too which is awesome. We are trying to put together a team for next year so we can enter some tourneys. This was our first year and we mostly went to team practices, but never had a full team of our own. We're learning very quickly though. Where are you from, man? If you're ever in the Wisconsin area, drop a line and I'll tell you where we'll be that weekend.

I have an Impulse with a modded trigger so that i can now "walk" the trigger, gets me 15+ ball per second. I haven't played in a long while though, the last time i did i realized how many goddamned cheaters there are playing nowadays.
