Any soccer game recommendations? (for PS2)

Could be worse. Over on another set of forums I frequent, I saw pretty much the same question asked by Billy Proevolutionsoccer...

[Edit: Though to be fair, I don't know how well the obvious game plays in terms of simplicity...]

Winning Eleven can be as complex or as simple as you want. All someone needs to remember to get started is that X is for normal passing, [] is for shooting and O is for long passing.

Hey, Konami makes a lot a games! If I don't do soccer games much, can you really blame me? :) Thanks for the replies.

BTW, last soccer game I played personally was Kunio's on the PC-Engine. It's been a while.

It's for my nephew, who is 7, so a simple playing or stylized game might be best - any good ones out there?

Thanks ahead of time :)

Buy him a football game, or is he one of those boys that play jumprope with the girls during recess? If that's the case then Konami makes an adorable little soccer game.

He might just be, you never know, right? :P In any case, I'm seeing that winning eleven part 7 is out of stock in a lot of the reputable online shops. I'm getting 7 because 8 apparently isn't out yet, and it's for an X-mas gift (of course) - the problem is 7 seems to be out of stock in a lot of the reputable online stores I checked - and its a gift I'm trying to help someone else out with, so I doubt they'll be interested in giving him a used copy of it.

As for importing 8, I'd be fine with it if it were for me, but this is for the ps2 my nephew is getting this christmas, which is not chipped...
