I am seriously considering getting a satellite radio before the end of the year. Right now I am leaning toward Sirius because of their talk and sports options (npr, nfl). I've heard about XM having deeper music playlists though. Which service do you subscrube to and are you satisfied with it? Thanks for the input!

I love my XM radio, even now more so that I have a home kit and can bring it to work.... as a Howard Stern fan though I'm thinking in 2006 of giving the wife my XM kit and picking up a Sirius one.

My dad has Sirius, and he's extremely happy with it. You'd probably be happy with either service, but it sounds like you'd appreciate Stern and the NFL more.

While I don't have one myself, a friend just picked up XL and positively loves it. Clear signal throughout long road trips in the boonies, wildly diverse programming, the whole nine yards. My understanding is that Sirius does a better job for news and talk, but XL has Dr. Demento. 'Nuff said.
