that makes files smaller than winzip?

I'm trying to send this file to my gmail, i used winzip to zip it and its now about 28mb, but the freaking file doesn't seem to want to go through.

There's probably size limit on the mail server your attempting to use to send to gmail? Comcast limits mine to 5mb. =\ Try http://www.7-zip.org/

No zip program isn't going to be good enough to compress it any more than winzip can by any significant amount. The only thing you can do is use a program like WinRar to break your file into several separate smaller files.

7-Zip gets some pretty high compression rates. You just have to tinker with it so you get maximum compression out of your file.

I've seen some .7z files unzip to very large sizes in comparison to their packed size.
