You know, I've noticed there is no way my dvd collection will ever be where I want it to btw. Just this week dvd did it again to me. Already a special edition I bought, they go and rerelease it with more stuff. This time with Ultimate Michael Jordan. I bought this thinking I wont have to buy another MJ thing besides the Bulls dynasty. Well, They rereleased MJ's collection with 5 full length games and a dunk contest for the excuse, 20th anniversary. My dvd doesnt have one full game! This has the best stuff at the same price. The 69 dropped on Cleveland, the 63 on the Celtics, and a whole lot of other must owns. I'm pissed... and I think I may rebuy it..

then add to that fact that looking through the dvd's recently, I seen so much other shit I need to own I didnt even know were out. ugh, screw dvd. Well not really, but you know. It's a love-hate relationship for sure. Bastards.

What's different in this set from the other "Ultimate Jordan DVD" that came out about a year or two ago? Any specifics?

same set with 5 full games and 88 dunk contest. Games are 69 on Cavs, 63 on Celtics, 55 on Phoenix, Flu game, and final game ever played. All in their entirety and reportedly great quality. You probably got the tapes but I myself don't have a single full length game recorded. This is some good shit right here too.

Well, I have all those games on tape with the exception of the 55 on Phoenix, which they never show on TV-- not on Classic Sports and not on NBA TV. It's crazy-- it's the only gave in that Finals series that I don't have on tape; it's been shown a grand total of once on Classic Sports in the past 8 years, while the rest of the games of that series are shown constantly. Crazy. He had several sick moves that game.


Still, based on that description, it doesn't seem like I'll be able to justify the purchase (I also have that dunk contest on tape ).

Heh, I saw it last week and immediately thought "damn, they sure screwed a lot of people". :lol I'll probably pick it up before too long...already got Ultimate Gretzky for cheap, so why not get the hoops equivalent.
