got one last night... man am i in trouble. i should have just stayed home. anyone else here been in this situation? care to share your experience or have any advice?

i remember a few years back i was out with some buddies and there were some people there i didn't know. anyways, one of the guys got to talking about "how to get out of a DUI situation"
he went on to detail that you dont have to agree to take the test when the cop asks you, and that you can delay it until your attorney gets there and so on. basically by the time you actually have to TAKE it, you are of clear mind and you will pass. something like that i dont remember the specifics

You are obligated by law to do it Thats the way it is in Utah and I think most states are like that(according to some of those police video shows). So your buddies didn't know what they were talking about.
