I'm creating an image of my hard drive now. The registry is fucked beyond belief, *thanks in-laws*. Anyways, I save the image as .img. Can I just going into each DVD that the image is on and take out what I want, or do I have to reinstall the entire image back on the PC to get to the files I'm backing up. Thanks in advance

You can view the image contents using ghost explorer, so you wont need to image a machine to get access to your files.
