I'm thinking of asking my supervisor tonight,w e close at 10pm so it's not too far off.

But chances are most stores will be completly out. Gamestop for one the midnight openings they have been telling 1st shipment people to pick it up that night or else it won't be available to them until next shipment.

Well the store I work at doesn't take pre-orders at all, so we will have alot in stock. I don't want to come to work tommorrow morning and find a huge line waiting for the store to open.

Correction: Your DM is full of shit...no GS shipments were diverted to Best Buy. The van stuff, sure - anything to save a buck.

I lost track of what you were talking about...again MS did not divert shipments away from GameStop.

Certainly, inventory was being shifted store to store - or from DC to stores. Shit, DMs and SMs cart product around for many big launches, ie. Madden.

Bottom line: every retailer is strapped for inventory and luckily store employees aren't making it worse by buying up the inventory. 'Cept seeing Wal-Mart allocations makes me wonder about them.
