Anyone buying their PSP at Walmart for the better return policy?

I mean incase your PSP has dead pixels? I think EB/GS wont take returns iif the box is open.
Places like Walmart/Fry's have 30 days return no questions asked. :)

I'm pretty sure that all of these stores have similar policies. Once you open the box, you can only exchange for the same item.

If the DS launch was any indication, EB should keep a few units aside in case of defects. Unfortunately, it takes them a little time to get them in, as I believe they have them stored and have to order one per defect. If it's something like a dead pixel or whatever, though, we let people hold onto their units until we got a new one in, then switch them for the customer. Damn, there must be some bad stores out there.

I keep saying I'm going to check with my EB to see what their policy is going to be on dead pixels.. I need to call them....

yeah I need to call EB too. I thought they wouldn't take returns on open systems. But maybe the exchange policy is different.

The exchange policy for all products is, simply, if it's defective within fourteen days, you can exchange it for the same item as long as you have the receipt. It should be no different for the PSP. They'll let you return it if it's broken, but ONLY for another PSP. Not for cash. Well, they might let you buy $250 worth of games. But call ahead of time if there's a problem, and see if they'll let you keep your PSP while they get a defective replacement in. Otherwise, you might be without it for a week or two.

Returning a system won't do you any good if there's no system in stock to replace it with. :lol

...uh that simply means that you'll need to wait for the next batch to come in... if I had dead pixels I could certainly wait for the next shipment from my store knowing the manager had already assured me he would replace my unit when the next batch came in.
